The application for an eVisa seems to only give a 16-day visa, and when I googled about a private visa, it said it can be up to 3 months, I can get a invitation or eInvitation if required for longer stay. Is it safe to visit Russia during my time? I am going to stay in Moscow for a week and then go to Altai Republic for a road trip on Chuysky Trakt with my Russian friends. Is it safe there? In my visa application, it asks if I use social media or messengers. Most people on KZbin suggest putting "no," but all of them are focused on tourism. My application includes both tourism and guest visiting, with the latter being primary. So, it wouldn't make sense to put "no," right? How difficult is the immigration process? Finally, would this visit to Russia during this time cause any issues with visa applications to Western countries in the future?
