Even with that, their military production is so paltry that Russia produces 3x as much as all of them put together. This is not even about Trump coming back, but it is about the Russian strategy to stretch the front and strain the Ukrainian lines that Zelensky fears. He claims to have amassed a reserve of 14 brigades, which be between 56 000 and 70 000 men. The problem is that these old and very young people are untrained. The new conscription law, that has allowed to forcibly take these men from the streets only came into force 2 months ago. We are talking about people who have less than 2 months of training; some as in the case of the inmates, recently released from jail, have no training at all. They are taken to any part of the front where the regular Ukrainian soldiers refuse to fight. Meanwhile, Russian soldiers undergo 1 year of training before deployment to the front.
