I'd like to see Italy play Georgia in Georgia. I think that Italy are still better, but Georgia deserve more chances to grow. I'm sure that if Germany were as good as Georgia, the Home Nations would have offered them a place in the 6 or 7 Nations, drooling for such sponsors as Adidas, BMW, etc. Money talks, not sporting values, I'm afraid...

World Rugby have strong, and developing, second tier rugby competitions in Europe and the Americas, and there are so much room for development in the pacific and Asia, and a competitive and highly respected quadrennial World Cup yet it seems it will through it all away with a world league of the top 12 nations, so the developing nations will never get a chance to play the strongest.

The promotion + relegation system helps though. It allows T2 teams to improve by merit. Also having Fiji in the top league is very good for their development as they are probably the best Pacific team

Would love to see Giorgia,Russia & Romania all join us in what is now the Six Nations & myb eventually U.S.A & Canada could join to but i think U.S.A & Canada are a lot further from joining the Six Nations Championship than Giorgia,Russia & Romania are. Jones is a journeyman coach with a spotty record in club competition and hasn't won a top level championship since the 1990s. World Rugby could do these countries a few favours by helping them recruit better coaching talent and performance directors with proven records to really up-skill the players and develop their domestic standards. Instead of guys with successful records taking cushy retirement packages in the Japanese Top League, they should be incentivized to lend their knowledge and experience to emerging rugby nations like these two, the other European second tier, North and South America, the African second rank and the PI nations to help them really catch up, foster their own quality of rugby and elevate them to a higher competitive level. Then we might have something approaching a world game, instead of a four-or-five-way scrap between traditionally dominant powers
