@@ComradeRussia777 You probably don't realize this because of all the propaganda you've been fed by your government, but Russia is actually one of the most despised countries in the world. That's why the only countries that ever side with Russia are states like Syria, Venezuela or Iran. Allmost all of Russia's former "allies"(read: vassal states) joined the NATO alliance as soon as they had the chance.

You have that CRAP Patriot, for which your own experts say is CRAP, for which Israelis said it was CRAP as it downed 1 of the 42 SCUD's (and that is ancient compared to, say, Iskander M) and it would NOT stop more then 11% of nukes fired... the reason the war is not gonna happen in the first place are the nukes....neither Russia or any of the Nato countries are willing to take that risk....as long M.A.D. is assured, any kind of full military invasion would be like playing with fire, cause things could escalate very quickly. Its just a shame that we are still not away from Cold War politics, but are in fact returning back to it...and Russia, Putin and their supporters should also look into the mirror and ask themselves are they really the victims here, or are they just fueling the negative progress? Russia and Putin are so hypocrite saying "dont meddle with other nations" when they are doing exactly that in Ukraine and in Syria.

Guys as Russian, I assure you, you overestimate our army. Yes, it isn't weak by Europe standards, but in that kind of war, we have no chance. Defeat will take weeks, if we're lucky - months. Taking into consideration the poor state of our military-industrial complex, we can not even compete with the US 1 vs 1. Understand that Russia is not the Soviet Union, we are left with only a faint shadow of the former power we had in the 60s and 70s. If you remove the show-off parades on May 9 in Moscow and propoganda, you will see that the real strength approximately at level of India.

Its true, India would never fight alongside China, this country is despised by most its neighboring countries, hell even some of its own citizens hate their government for its authoritarian regime. However, India would prefer to align with russia rather than USA ( Alliance with/help from Russia in the past) . Therefore, in my opinion it would be a non aligned country. Pakistan however would definitely be involved in this war and would support China. And, I am pretty sure it would attack Indian border cities going by its track record, in the process calling for Chinese help. India will then have to step into this bloody mess siding with USA .

idk.... india is ok with us and dislikes china so i think they would be neutral, india would not support a war which would in the end help china. also usa dose nothing till the end and mexico would not side with Russia, us mexico relations are in a stable state. plus USA, Japan, south Korea and other countries can hold off china in naval combat which would happen and north korea is super behind in military. This war simulation is in heavy Russian favor. just my to sense.

exactly what i was thinking. also, the only advantage russia really has is more tanks when it comes to the materialistic side. america has more planes, troops and allies. not to mention more powerful allies. also, america has set up a very powerful anti nuclear weapons array around all of europe, northamerica and south east asia. russia wouldnt really stand a chance in my opinion. i also think that china wouldnt help russia. as you said, america has a better navy and can take the south china sea like it were nothing. including south korean and Japanese support, china hasnt a chance
@kylesugui
@kylesugui 8 жыл бұрын
I thought so too I think NATO and US was underestimated a little bit too much here, NATO is already surrounding Russia plus US have like 800+ military bases around the world. With China it's possible that they can invade south Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, and the Philippines, but at a very costly invasion. They know if SEA + Australia + Japan +SoKor + US navy (and possibly india too) worked together their navy could easily break from a single mistake. Russian navy would be too busy dealing with Europe and Alaska to really help. Probably one of the few reasons why they're so insistent on building and fortifying artificial islands near Philippines because it's such a strategic position.

I think that NATO will decay before some states get nuke. No one wants to be nuked. NATO doesn't surrounds Russia, it is only close to their European part, but never forget that the surface of Russia is bigger than surface of Pluto. It's very hard to be surrounded. On the other side, I doubt that anyone would be close to US borders with conventional troops. So, acquiring Hawaii is so funny. Before that, US should face new civil war.

Charles Curt no my friend. even if Russia didn't fire one missile back. Us nuking all of Russia would irradiate the whole northern hemisphere and kill us all... and our missile defence shield is only designed to stop a small attack from a low tech country like an Iran or n Korea. Russia China and the US use MERV missiles with decoys. No chance of stopping a mass attack of those. All three also use SBL missiles that attack from very low trajectory's right off the coast and have almost no chance of being intercepted... an all out nuclear war is the end for all of us... there is no winner.

Charles Curt Hahahaaaa, MORON how did you calculate that 100% of old US nukes would pass thru Russian S-400, S-500, and System A-135, and that only few would pass your CRAP that you call Patriot antimissile shield??? Even your own experts say that your chances of stoping Topol M's are rated at 68% and Bulava's at 89% MISSED!!! That means at least 80% will go thru, and they have more then you do, and theirs are top notch tech!!

Germany and Italy wouldn't leave NATO without a fight. Indians HATE the chinese and would probably try to avoid fighting side by side with them. The west coast of the USA fell to the Russians way to fast, the middle of the country is more likely to fall before the coasts do. Also Japan was soooo helpful. Iran would obviously side with Russia, Iraq is quite possible because of its own issues and to avoid open conflict with Iran. India might also side with Russia or, remain neutral because it has Pakistan on one side and China on the other. China is the country that might tip the balance - they may not get involved in direct conflict with the US however because of the resources is gains from Russia an alliance is likely (although China could equally invade and take the oil and gas fields in Siberia) however, they are likely to jump on Taiwan, and are likely to then enter into conflict with the US and, definitely Japan. As for Europe, I'm not sure Germany would drop out so easily, this would depend on Germany's economic situation at the time - it has a well funded military that whilst not as large as the Russian military, coupled with British, American (and yes, French) support, could possibly hold Russia and the German-Polish border. The Middle East and, Balkan states would then determine the way the war goes as I suspect most middle eastern states except Oman, Saudi Arabia possibly Jordan and Israel would side with NATO. North Africa would likely side with Russia but countries like Kenya and South Africa may side with NATO or, remain neutral. As for Australia, it will side with NATO but mostly, it would protect its borders and would stay away from Chinese waters (it could help block the Panama Canal and the area between South America and Antarctica). As for invasion of Alaska - it's a possibility but the US and Canada would be stupid not to atleast reinforce it with troops and air support. Finally, while many Scandinavian countries would remain as neutral as they could, Britain, along with the France, US and Germant could cut off Russian access to the North Sea and then the Atlantic and, Britain, France, Spain, Italy and Us could cut off its access to the Med. Plus, I think Argentina may try to seize the Faulkland Islands while Britain is distracted (however I wonder how likely other South American countries would side with NATO and attack Argentina or, a joint attacking force from the US the UK, and possibly maybe some Canadian forces to regain the Islands). As for Mexico and Cuba, well Mexico may try to take some of its former lands back - Texas is doubtful (as it has an independence streak that goes way back to 1846 if not before, which, I also think of Texas seceded and Russia etc invaded mainland US via Alaska then, I could see Russia et al winning and, Mexico gaining territory such as California and New Mexico). It's all purely theoretical - some smaller nations may not have a large effect overall though which way they go could make it easier for either side to fight more efficiently.

Other problems in this simulation are... Well... For something not meant to be realistic, it definitely is the work of fancy. Both India and China lack the amphibious capability to reach Hawaii and invade it. Additionally, Russian paratroopers would not secure Alaska easily. There is a highway, purposely built, to move large numbers of US troops to Alaska. Canada would already be in the war, the same with Australia and large numbers of other Dominion members. Most notably, is your timeline. No war could be fought on such a scale with the available on hand forces. You also overpower the Russian and Chinese Communist Forces. Most of their equipment is quite dated and obsolete. Troop training is also far poorer than in the West. Additionally, with India actually on the side of NATO (all caps by the way), the rough estimates would favor NATO in terms of population. The USA alone has almost triple the population of Russia. NATO's large numbers also contribute another Billion people. NATO allies in Asia would also add an addition half billion to billion. India alone rivals China in population. That said, even with close allies and client states, the East would be badly outnumbered. At least a population ratio of 3:1 upwards of 4:1. The bulk of Western forces would be highly trained full time professional soldiers, well trained reservists, and a large pool of former soldiers that can be recalled. The US National Guard also adds to America's might with strength nearly that of the Regular Forces, plus the US Reserve should be factored in as well. Tech differences and supply also comes into play. The PLA and RGF both are vehicle heavy and more focused on firepower. The trade off is a weaker supply and logistical support. Additionally, the RGF alone is plagued by at least 30% of its troops being harden criminals pressed into military service as part of their punishment. Unfortunately for everyone, not just the RGF, this means they use their criminal skills to steal and sell on the black market. These criminals are also bold enough, that they are known to kill conscripts and volunteers, including officers, who try and get in their way or restore discipline among the ranks. PLA soldiers are more oriented towards party doctrine and have less training than even RFF. Additionally, the RFF can at least enjoy some capable commanders, promoted on merit. The PLA senior staff is largely Party Officials in uniform and promotion at lower ranks includes how well a prospective officer for promotion recalls his Communist Education. Overall, the West may be a mix bag, but comparatively speaking, the East is a wet bag with a hole in the bottom of it.

Here's the thing guys. A conventional war cannot be fought today in the same way as it was during WW2, weapons, personnel, & logistic facilities are far to expensive to deploy on that level again (no country in europe has the money or industrial capacity to do this). You cannot take a graduate out of college & conscript him into a modern airforce with 6 weeks basic training, and than expect him to operate a modern military combat aircraft (they are too complex), & the same applies to 90% of modern conventional weapons. If WW3 broke out tomorrow it would be nuclear, & no-one would win. The above plays out like a Michael Bay wet-dream of a Red Dawn remake.

Nato was build for this very purpose, so I highly doubt that. NATO forces are so integrated that it would leave leaving armies weakened at the most crucial time. Turkey for example would lose over 40% of their radar data just when the missiles start flying. Completely unrealistic. You also underestimate inter-alliance and European-Atlantic loyalty.

+Vote for Mr Cat Moron, the statistics itself prove that US is better than Russia and China in terms of military. Of course USA wouldn't be able to invade Russia or China and "conquer" them, but they could certainly keep on the pressure/offensive and force their enemy to always be on the defensive. If either Russia or China (Or even combined) tries to attack the US mainland, they'd get destroyed since their navy isn't really that powerful, and they wouldn't be able to keep up the pressure/offensive since they lack the sufficient assets to do so (Like aircraft carriers).

The U.S. would order an Alaskan evacuation as the state is VERY sparsely populated. The U.S. would then deploy all 19 aircraft carriers in the Pacific, launching the largest airstrike in history, obliterating the Alaskan landscape as well as the advancing troops. If Russia and China's troops manage to somehow survive and make it to mainland U.S., it would result in a stalemate. Also, I'm not sure if the Germany or the U.K. would surrender that easily. Also, China would go broke because it has declared war on its only market, Russia would go broke because it's already broke, but the U.S. would not because we don't rely on exports and could simply bump up the taxes to 90%. Doing this would cover our debt and pay for the war at the same time. We have some of the lowest taxes (only 39% for the top 1%), yet we have the largest military by far, so imagine if we increase the taxes from 39% to 90%. Our military would over double in power.

@@darnit1944 While the USA is giving large amounts of aid to Ukraine, it also has made it very clear that it is not interested in actually joining the fight. The situation has changed significantly in the last five years, but Ukraine is still not important enough for the United States and NATO to expand the conflict. While Putin likes to apply pressure with threats, he actually does not want to fight NATO because he knows that he would not win; therefore, an increase in provocations would have to depend on NATO's initiative. The problem with this is that such a war would be extremely unpopular in some NATO countries, especially the United States in which there is a strong push for American (and, by extension, NATO) neutrality from the base of the Republican Party premised on the exhaustion from recent unproductive foreign wars, an unwillingness toward escalation, a reaction against Neoliberal interventionism, and the lack of a security treaty between the USA and Ukraine; therefore, if the Republicans take power in the upcoming election (which is highly likely), they will likely promote de-escalation if they are inclined to the popular base of their party, and NATO is unlikely to commit to a fight without American involvement. A much more likely cause for Americans going to war is Taiwan which is actually strategically important to the USA, unlike Ukraine. Current escalation from a conflict in the Middle East is less likely for the same reasons. Of course, all of this can change quite easily. If a country really wants to go to war with another country, it's not hard to find excuses to do so.

I can already see one problem with your theory here: India. India and the People's Republic of China are at odds with each other. They have a major long running border dispute. Supposedly, PLA troops 'invade' India every so often, entering one Indian territory and then leaving shortly thereafter. Plus, India blames the PRC for backing and supplying Indian Communists that are waging a long running guerrilla conflict in India that has caused hundreds of deaths. In addition, Pakistan is a major receiver of PRC weapons and a primary antagonist against India. Second problem: Egypt. Egypt is now heavily backed by the West and sees Iran as a potential rival. Recently, the two French Assault Ships that were to go to Russia were bought by Egypt and will likely improve the nation's amphibious capabilities, to say nothing of giving the nation what amounts to two Light Carriers. Most of the Egyptian Military's weapons are European or America now, so any parts and resupply would have to come from the West. Additionally ties between Russia and Egypt have been hit or miss since the of the October War.

When we made a prediction for ww1.... we summed it up in one phrase (it will end by christmas) to even try and predict an outcome such as this? It's frankly impossible. Out understanding of modern warfare is not up to date with the technology we posses. Drones, tactical missiles, advanced armor and much more is untested in a scenario of total war. like in world war 2, the economy would change drastically. changing the political landscape. Who the aggressor is and how that affect the neutral parties is also a huge factor. Does this drag out? is nuclear weapons used or sanctioned? Does it drag out, is it short? we can know none of this for certain. That is why many people are DESPERATE for peace.

And the war-industry that would kick off in the United states in the event of world war 3, would really raise their economy. Kind of how it happened during ww2 when so many Jobs where created leading to an economic boom, despite fighting the largest war that has ever been fought. But the outcome of ww3 is not that easy to answer, It depends on so many factors, like in what extrents nukes would be used for example. And you can forget that i become religios, if youre even serious about that. Its just mindcontrol and for weakly minded people.

If wars were won on treaties and promises alone, this might hold some truth. However victory lies in experience (The USA has been at war in the middle East for the past few decades), budget (USA spends less on defense budget than Russia according to percents and manages to have 10x the defense budget), technology (The US alone has more air craft carriers, with better, more advanced aircraft, than any of the nations that would ally with Russia in this video COMBINED), and economy (We could easily cut off trade with China and leave them to wilt and die). So if you don't want to consider any of the above factors, then this might be realistic. However in the real world Russia would have absolutely no way of defeating the USA.

I see this simulation going somewhat differently. To start Russia like every other country in the world is codependent on international trade and not Economically stable enough to follow through with military action of this scale Furthermore Russia needs Europe to buy its oil and natural gas otherwise their economy tanks. I believe Russia would more than likely end their campaign at the Baltic sea after taking control of most of its neighboring countries; Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania along with parts of Belarus and Ukraine At that point it would become harder to mobilize and supply its troops. Here's Where I see things going very differently because by now Russia Isn't only fighting NATO they are also fighting the UN and furthermore Russia's military is stalled, it takes time to capture a country its not as simple as rolling through with tanks and calling it yours. On top of that Russia's economy is stressed (I suppose they hadn't learned from WW2, The Cold War and the fall of the Soviet Union) The U.S. what remains of NATO as well as UN forces are effectively mobilized and on the ground in Europe and Turkey and The push back begins. Eventually everything grinds to a halt hard to say where the borders fall but by now both sides have seen casualties either equivalent or double that of WW2. Russia's Economy is on the brink of collapse probably supporting itself with Loans from China. At this point Russia has a Choice does it fight until the end possibly even using its nuclear arsenal ensuring destruction for all or do they reach out for peace and maintain control of a little of what they had conquered? A few other points.I don't foresee India taking part in this war unless its against Afghanistan or China. Japan doesn't have a standing army navy or air force its constitution only allows them to have a national defense force. Northern Africa has enough on its plate there's no way they would do anything against Europe. And like I said all countries rely on International trade to survive so this kind of scenario is just not very plausible. I know that was just created for fun, I apologize for the long winded comment but a little bit of real world knowledge goes a long way.

I honestly don't see how. China doesn't have the naval strength to challenge the US in the Pacific. Italy wouldn't leave NATO because of commercial relationship with Russia, as that would quickly become irrelevant in a war, which would cut Italy-Russia trade. India would not be on the same side as China, Bulgaria has no reason to switch sides, and Israel would stay neutral.

It's just a loose economic union at this point, whose goal is to undermine American grip on world economy (read: create alternative to almighty dollar). In a military conflict, it is quite likely that all of these will stay neutral. It is unclear why even China which is perhaps Russian strongest ally, would intervene in Europe, they just don't have any interest to do so because that would ruin Chinese economy (you don't attack ones you do business with, and China is doing its business with the West, and earning thousands of billions from it each year. They do quite fine in peace, why would they seek war?).

+moelio20 in my opinion the western countries would leave because they have good relationships with Russia, there's no sense attacking it because they know that if NATO increases the troops near Russian borders, Russia will do this too, and they know how much they would loose attacking it. They would win, probably, but countries would be run by anarchy. Europe wouldnt be motivated in such war. The US recently increased American troops in Europe. Europe disliked because had fear of the consequeces. Putin said: "if they think that we will increase our military expenditure for conventional war, they're wrong. Modern war doesn't need them". The Russian strategy is pretty easy: De-escalation. De escalation means that if foreign troops enter in russian territory or they see a fleet in the Middle of the ocean approaching to them, they will fire tactical nukes.
