I have huge respect for synchronized swimmers. I went to training for synchronized swimming for a month and let me tell you, it is a very hard sport and I’ve tried many sports in my life. The way they synchronize without hearing the music. Hold their breath. Manage to keep there legs up in the air without touching the bottom of the pool. It amazes me. Great job!

luuk Pollaerts I’m not sure what they meant but it seems like they mean If you sink to the bottom you have muscle However someone who does have muscle doesn’t necessarily sink to the bottom

luuk Pollaerts I believe that yeee worded it wrong. It isnt muscle that makes someone sink, its body mass. Muscle can affect it, but usually only if you have large bulky muscle. Fat can also affect body mass, as well as how dense your bones are.

Basically really really fast and strong hand work under the water. Like a propeller. It's not that hard as it looks, if you have muscular hands you won't take it long to master.

It's changed a little since I did it as a kid in the 60's...as it should though since now it's an Olympic sport. Much more challenging. I remember they were just beginning to talk about and petition to have it added as a sports category in 'The Games'. Beautiful and amazing to see!

You don't sink, because there are techniques to stay up; the 2 methods are : 1."Egg beater" which is a circular motion/maybe a kick motion done by our legs 2."support skull" A motion done by our hands Hope this helped for the people wandering

This is so amazing? They were all together which isn't easy especially under water. China is awesome also! These girls are amazing!!! I can only imagine how much practing it took to be on point the way they were. I would have messed up the whole routine trying to hold my breath without panicking trying to get through something like that🤭

It's hard work. It's almost 80hours per week of training for the Russian team I think. And no, there's no mirror just open your eyes and look around you in the water and yes we have the music underwater 😉
