The other kicker is that this ban on ammo sales will also hurt the country ecologically as well as economically. If you weren't aware: guns, ammo, and various forms of hunting paraphenalia have a small excise tax on them. This money, under the provision of the Pittman-Robertson Act, is meant to go directly to the various state game and wildlife programs to provide them with a large amount of their funding to manage and conserve game, game habitat, and anything else they can justify under that broad umbrella.

(Is it actually applicable now? It's been so long I'm not even sure.) The fourth has been torn to shreds and is violated as a matter of routine. The fifth? It's pretty apparent to most people paying attention that the criminal justice system is just broken in a number of ways. I don't think that even a single informed rational person believes that trials in this country are even remotely speedy so there goes number six. The 7th still technically exists but over 90% of cases are decided without ever seeing a jury. I'm pretty fuckin' sure that the prison system, as it exists today, violates the 8th on a daily basis. The 9th and 10th may as well not even exist in all honesty.

I have fired thousands if steel cased rounds through my ARs and the only problem I've ever had was one stuck case from a lacquer coated case.
