Russia rewarded its armed forces for the capture of Avdiivka in Ukraine. The Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu awarded the Center Group Commander with a "Golden Star". Russia captured Avdiivka last month, making it Moscow's most significant battleground gain since Bakhmut. Russia has now launched attacks on Kharkiv, Ukraine's second largest city. It does say that the commendation was issued to the "Center group" formation, the General is only receiving it on their behalf, and the units within the formation will get the golden star inscribed in their insignia...
