This phrase means that this old man insulted the Tsar based on what he studied during the Soviet Union, which used propaganda to spread false ideas in the people's minds, especially about Tsar Nicholas II and his reign. This man was one of the victims of this propaganda.

Good. That doofus shouldn't have been spreading misinformation. Good he got fined. It's time someone taught people like this the difference between opinions and facts. If IN HIS OPINION Nicholas was a bad ruler, fine, say THAT, but stating it as a fact leads to people not understanding the real complex history involved.

I'm very pleased by this report. Czar Nicolas 2 was in fact a very caring and loving man, for his family and his people. He didn't wanted Russia to go to war against Germany. It was his uncle Paul, who instigated to go to war. Unfortunately the czar gave in and called upon him, his family and the Russian people a catastrophe of which we all still today are victims. Putin, are you reading?

Had Kaiser Frederick III not gotten throat cancer and lived past the 99 days he was on the Imperial German throne, there would have no World War I, as Frederick would have focused on reforming Imperial Germany into a federal constitutional monarchy similar to the system of central and devolved governments we see in the UK to this day. Sadly, Frederick's death and Wilhelm II's accession, resulting in Bismarck's dismissal and grabbing control of affairs from the Imperial German ministers lead to the events that would result in Nicholas' reluctant entry into WW1 and the downfall of the Russian Imperial Family.
@NicholasKohen2 ай бұрын
@@rwboa22 Frederick the 3rd was going to be a puppet of Otto Von Bismarck and nothing else. Bismarck knew everything about Frederick even stuff that Frederick himself wouldn’t know so no reforms coming and Bismarck was way too smart to not prop up a successor who would control Frederick the same way that Bismarck would have.
