@@PrussianMonarchist Yes indeed those death sentences were part of the Red Terror. The Russian Empire was not perfect but when compared to the Soviet Union it can be considered a paradise.As for the famine that occurred in the empire, it was due to the drought of crops due to climate change, and as for the famines that occurred in the Soviet Union, they were fabricated, as Benin said in his own words that hunger is one of the means of making the people submit to him.

Rasputin looks like a crazy man, his eyes don't lie, deep dark soul. The traditional Russian clothes on the women and men are amazing, I saw a Pearl headdress like the ones worn in 1903 photos at a collection at the V&A in London. It was beautiful, the workmanship involved was so delicate, it looked quite heavy too wear but stunning, I can imagine how beautiful the robes were that went with it.

Love the dancing. I think it's safe to say that compared to the Donald Trump dance with his wife to celebrate his inauguration this dance with the Romanov daughters is simply the most beautiful. Russians know how to dance. I'm half Slovak and I used to dance Lipa so I know what it is to dance properly. Tremendous respect from Canada ! Thank you ! Bozhe Tsarya Khrani !

Nicholas II could have remained Tsar of Russia. But he felt it was God's will to abdicate. Many people will think of abdicating as a cowardly act but it is not when you are living God's will on earth. And the Tsar was living God's will on earth. The Tsar and his family knew a lot of things about the afterlife than most people. He faithfully trusted God and believed it was time to step down in 1917. No Russian Tsar ever loved his country as much Nicholas II did. To me Nicholas II personified what a Russian Tsar should be - faithful, courageous, honest, caring and above all a family man.
