It's not fake egg. It's a penoy, an unfertilized duck egg. Valentina's mom face was so funny while you were examining and dipping that balut in vinegar. Love Valentina's guts eating that balut like she had done that many times before.

Sergei to answer your question about how some foreigners not wanting to try balut...its definitely understandable because balut is so intimidating looking esp when you see the chick! Lol im filipino and i can only eat the yolk. I have to cover the chick with the shell lol. It also has a much stronger chicken flavor to it. I habe to eat chocolate after or brush my teeth.

My friend they're some rules in Philippines 🇵🇭 especially in Davao area that you can't go outside naked or need to wear tshirts or top if you're going outside Always wear clothes t-shirt if you're going outside you can take off already if you're inside your house Davao is very strict nice place BTW if from City of smile Bacolod City ❤❤❤ Enjoy eating 😊

In Vietnam they have also their own BALUT so similar to a Filipino one. I remember before, one American genius Chess Grandmaster in the name of BOBBY FISCHER and he was so addicted eating balut, everytime he visits Philippines he always wants to eat Balut, and a lot of FOREIGNERS also eating Balut. Me the way I'll buy balut I pick the small one it means the fetus not big enough and I eat by not removing all the shell just half of it only and swallow it all by putting vinegar and salt on top, Filipino way. ❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I remember when I was in Baguio City, I got up at night, go outside just to find a Balut vendor and I can eat up to 5 Balut too, 6 the most in just one go. (and it really has an aphrodisiac effect 😅) That was actually my craving during that time, the other one was pesto pasta with Basil leaves, that was very long ago 😂 I think I graduated now from eating balut, except pesto pasta I still crave hehe 🤣

Valentina did right how she eats balut but maximum 2 or 3 not 5. I dont eat balut but tried once. It's tasty if u put few salts and a bit venigar and for first timer dont look at it when you eat, just bite it at once.then it tastes just like normal egg. For me i eat pinoy egg best.

I think when you go to public places like when your facing some many people's you need to wear shirts, if you dont want to wear shirt coz of hot weather in the Philippines, maybe the sleeveless undershirts for men we called it "sando" or some jersey 😂. Its ok to be no shirts if your in your house, or in your area, but in public not maybe.
