Nothing has to happen before the rapture! God will take us up before the Tribulation. In the meantime, bring people to Christ. Jesus says when you seen these things BEGIN to happen, look up for your redemption draws near. He also says there will be wars and rumors of war. But do not fear. The 7-year Tribulation is going to kill 2/3 of the population. How can the church not fear unless we will be taken out first? The church will not go through the Tribulation. Jesus already took our wrath upon himself at the cross. There is a pretribulation Rature. That's why the Church isn't mentioned again after chapter 3 in Revelation. The wrath of God is for the Jews not the church. The Tribulation is for Isreal.

Nope, we're almost a century off because the Julian calendar is not correct. The Hebrew calendar is the accurate one and this whole mess was caused by over zealous humans trying to speed things up. It will happen in God's time. According to many the generation of 1948 would not come to pass and Jesus would return. Look up what a generation means and you will see that you have been deceived. Sorry God has the final word and I will stick with the Hebrew calendar.
