fr! in my country there's people taking care of the carts hoping for a tip while also helping people park their cars, but when there's nobody around, I simply return it to the entrance, it doesn't hurt!. Ex: waiters clean up tables after you leave. Leave it spotless anyways, make every employee that is helping you have the easiest possible job, and regardless of how easy you make it, tip them for a good job. (For me, it's all about attitude. The same work can be done, but if it's with a smile, you've worked wonders. Even so, still gonna make sure people can make a living if not.) Their job description isn't to be your nanny, etc.
