Very good video as usual, but just one small correction: it was not Germany who stopped buying gas from Russia, it was Russia who finally stopped to deliver it, after making a clownshow for several month, where they reduced the volume of the delivery several times. The reason was (according to the Russians) a broken turbine, but it was one out of nine turbines in one station, which needs only six to work at full scale. Finally Russia even refused the delivery of a new pump, refurbished in Canada, because they didn't want to break the sanctions against Russia. And it gets even more funny: There were no sanctions on gas at all. In the end, the Russians stopped completely the delivery long before the Nordstream Pipeline was blown up. The contract was only concerning the delivery via the old Nordstream 1 pipeline. For Nordstream 2 there was no new contract at that time, which might explain why one of these pipelines was not damaged. Since Russia has broken the contract by stopping the delivery, Germany had the chance to come out of that contract without additional payment. That explains also why Austria still gets the gas from Russia. They use another pipeline through Ukraine an have to pay their gas until 2030, even if they would refuse to take it. Greetings from Germany.

You're exaggerating obviously but your point is made. On the USA home front, the US dollar is trash thanks to the FED and the overspending politicians trying to get re-elected. I'm blaming all politicians as well as voters and corporations looking for handouts instead of the government focusing only on its' constitutionally defined responsibilities. Read history folks. Rome, another great society was lost due to overspending and devaluing their money. Rome minted their coins out of real metal, e.g. gold. Over the years the politicians had more expenditures and debts that they could afford with their minted coins, so the coins were mixed with lesser-valuable metals when making the coins and over time the coins lost value. Well, that's the same as printing/creating dollars. The result is the same...the money is worth less and less and less.

Normally these locations have to be filled, starting in the spring and ending like november reached 90-92% round about. Back in 2021 Gazprom came up with news about a cold winter in Russia and difficulties for deliveries of gas. Winter is always cold in Russia. The locations in Germany and Netherlands all reached this 90-92%. The Gazprom locations in Germany and the Netherlands reached 20%. This caused extreme priceraises already end 2021. For Europe, natural gas is something to avoid. Europeans have better ways to generate heat and electricity, unless some politicians manage to keep linked to Putin's tipe of business. So let Gasprom sell all their gas to china, North Korea, Mongolia and mostly Russians. After all the climate changes, there's still a lot of cold weather there...

the sad irony is that russians dont really see the russian gas there are places in russia ( and i am not talking about some remote siberian village ) that dont have heat, electricity and easily accessible clean water …its pathetic

According to Wikipedia is a googol a large number 10^100. In decimal notation, it is written as the digit 1 followed by one hundred zeroes: 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. If the observable universe were filled with sand, it would still only equal 10^95 grains. Another 100,000 observable universes filled with sand would be necessary to make a googol The companies name is derived from that notion and apparently explains the claim of the Russian Federation against Google.

Nornickel, also known as Norilsk Nickel, is also making fabulous losses right now. Reuters reported in Sept 2024 "Nickel market no longer afraid of losing Russian supply" so there is no future for that company either. Between the two massive companies there will be many job losses before they become minnows barely able to survive.

I started investing in crypto and def earlier this year and it's the best decision I've ever made. My portfolio is now worth almost a million and I've realized that if a cryptocurrency hits the news, you're probably pretty late to the game. The idea is to get in on blue chips early before they go public. There are a lot of life-changing opportunities in the market that you should make the most of.

Hello, I am very interested. As you know, there are tons of investments out there and without in-depth knowledge, I can't decide which is best. Can you elaborate on how you invest and earn?
@BenjaminDonald7123 күн бұрын
The same goes for me, I do a wide range of investments with the help of my financial advisor. I advise you to find a professional to help you plan and improve your management skills. By the way, working with Michael Wayne was a great experience.

Also: Russia doesn’t have any cold water ports. So even if they could go LNG, it would of minimal benefit.
@irresistablejewel3 күн бұрын
It's got plenty of them; only they ice up; that's why they need the port in Crimea (which doesn't).

Profit figures are largely irrelevant and unless Gazprom paid all 2022 profits as dividends Russia government wouldn’t had got $8bn. Need to look at what are their dividends and what happened in Q4 are likely to be impairments of assets so accounting adjustments and how they are performing better reflection would be cash flow if cash flow positive they can operate for long time but that still means less money for Russia.
