This game is SO good. I'm a few hours in and i'm just shocked. The people putting bad reviews are Delusional, how could you not love this? It runs great, the black floor is perfect, the gore, the power of the weapons, the Graphics settings like I have never seen, it even has several Color Filters that change the entire tone of the game. How is the even possible made by one guy?? How is the performance so good, i'm getting over 200 fps at times.

It's always the indie games that nail the blood and gore and just plain combat/impact feedback 10 times better than most AAA games these days. Too many mainstream games rely way too much on the likes of health bars, damage numbers, hit/kill markers, and tons of other UI elements that just completely cover up the screen.

@@PsychoRavager I actually got the dlc content for free for some reason, so I don't know if the price is worth it. The dlc gets you 3 new weapons, one of them being the sword (which immediately became my main weapon for the rest of the game), 2 missions that focus more on the rampage then horror, and have some very interesting plot points and lore, some survival maps, and skins. It's a bit pricey for 2 missions, but honestly experimenting with the sword and revolvers is the most fun I had in this game.

This seriously puts AAA to fucking shame, and that's how it should be. It's not just beyond impressive how one lone guy can craft an entire game/mod, but it just further proves that corporate made garbage slop can't produce jackshit if there ain't no real gamers making it. With _modern_ games costing like 200 - 400 millions of dollars, and taking roughly about 7 to 10 years just to still be undercooked or broken when released is fucking disgraceful. If the industry refuses to heal via market correction, we'll always have indies like this. Games made by real gamers, not shit-head activists with their flag idealogies. Asia & Europe can still make incredible games despite losing the U.S. side.

Absolutely. The only thing we can do is to just stop spending money on the AAA releases. They have grown too entitled to be financially successful relying only on the title itself. The ubisoft's agenda with all the recent games has been "Meh, they will buy it anyway, it's Assassin's Creed". We need to collectively abandon these games and bury them in our minds like old good memories. Only when they hit the most low, they will start appreciating their players, and by then it will be too little, too late.

The part where the one scientist said to the other "Have you played the game Half Pife? I'm scared this could go wrong!" Or something along those lines- I instantly fell in love with this game! I only got it for $10 too, what an absolute steal. Edit: My only gripe with this game is some of the enemies are OP or they all rush you all at once. It's annoying, especially the enemies that leap toward you like frogs and just keep lunging at you when they get up close. The sound they make just make me rage uncontrollably 😂 Other than that tho, amazing game.

25:45 There is an alarm siren in the game and I have the same alarm siren outside my window right now... 4994rd (almost an anniversary) in this endless war, I have quite mixed feelings inside, as if dystopia is closer than I think, but the scariest thing is not weapon, aliens and parasites, but resignation, I got used to the sound of sirens, having stopped paying attention long before the 100th. And if suddenly a terrible apocalypse begins, then I will need just a little more time/sirens to realize and also resign myself. *In general* :this is a hyper-realistic game with the subgenre "everyday life" for me

Finished it last night Aside from some very easy bosses (Seriously 2 you can kill with using only the shotgun and one you can kill with grenades) this game actually has some great gameplay

I personally got to the train section and then truly thought that this is 1000 percent is the GOTY like WOW, I've never had a train FPS section and this is a perfect start for them like it's a great game although probably 5 of my hours are just looking where to go
