US Global Hawk (etc)UAVs routinely relay live data to Kiev and are therefore participating in combat. This is the air equivalent of 'boots on the ground'. IF RAF RC 'Rivet Joint' spy planes are doing the same job, accompanied by Typhoon jets, then the UK is complicit in combat. These aircraft do not use transponders and ignore ATC protocols in some of the busiest civil aviation lanes in the world, notably UK to Australasia, and present a massive hazard. The main difference between the US AUVs and these RAF planes is that the spy plane has 30+ people on board and Typhoons have 2 each. The UK possesses on 3 of these Boeing spy planes and they were purchased for ASW and SIGINT duties in the maritime protection/ Atlantic role. I expected that the Starmer government would end such gross folly and provocation, especially as the UK has no human or fixed assets in the Black Sea and there must be limits to pleasing the USA and NATO still overseen by a liar of doubtful sanity. All such operations must cease immediately and the surveillance plane can return to its designated duties. Countries in the affected area able to shoot down such malicious should do so without warning, especially as 2 such incidents in a week should be warning enough. Incidentally, I am British and from an RAF family.
