I have one of those and one plash palatka that I take when I go camping and backpacking.

Good bit of kit,well designed by the old Ivan. Russian kit has come on leaps in the last 10 year's..I've several bits of Russian kit..well built bombproof and great value. Atb from UK 🇬🇧.

Designed? Most of their stuff is imitation of American and other countries designs. Sure, they probably changed it a little here and there to make it their own. The design however originated elsewhere.

I like it. Thank's for the comparison with the usgi acu tarp. Great over view. 🙂

Got an old usgi shelter half tent canvas. Too heavy to lug but I figured I’d keep it and set it up on the bed of the pickup for camping.

You should get yourself a Dovrefjell Mountain tarp. It replace the Jerven tarp in the Norwegian army. It's waterproof, heat-reflective, and insulated. It function as a shelter, poncho, sleeping bag cover. And extra comouflage. When you try them, they become a must have for any survivalist/hunter/Soldier etc.

I have to say I can't wait to buy the Russian Tarp and add it to my collection plus camp with it. But I have to say I love the US Army UCP tarp as well and have found a multitude of configuration. One in particular is where you can use one trekking pole in one corner then peg down the opposite ends Three of them, With bungee's or cord have the other two sides pegged down as well it makes a really great cover for camping. This is USGI Tarps.

I like this as well. The camo pattern is great for where I live in Pennsylvania. Lots of "Evergreen" trees, like pines and especially cedar trees, where that pattern would fit right in. Thank you for sharing.

Hello my friend! This is part of the modern Russian military system RATNIK. This system includes a large number of different devices. It was interesting for me to know your opinion about our Russian military equipment. Keep it up brother!
@SurvivorMetalMan3 жыл бұрын
Yep, the whole Ratnik line of gear is great stuff, I want more. It’s solid stuff, very well built. Great stuff!

Ratnik camouflage fits way better than the grey UCP. It gives an illusion with the eyes way better than any US camo. I recently ordered a Ratnik suit that has reversible camo between summer and autumn style.

Would it matter much if you have a few different options for camo(top/pants/jacket), with a solid color like jeans, od green, blue or black blue pants?

Do whatever works best for you, and your area.

Sadley the price is a deal killer. There is just so much stuff out there to complet with this trying to justify the cost is way to hard for most of us to do. I really like it but not at that price point. I needed a new tent but over 100$ for a cheep China tent I now have made the switch to tarp camping and found out a lot of people are making the switch. In these times one can't spend like we once did we eater adapt or stop doing what we love :(
