@SecurityGuy42 the m26. They don't last long due to slight spontaneous detonation issue resulting from a issue with the trip wire mechanism. I don't know if it was the wire itself or the fuse mechanism. When it would experience large temp swings it would self trigger.

I did a video on that one already and said why it was removed from service. And it didn't come out in the late 80s. It was late 70s early 80s.

why do I think the object with going off so low is to inflict damage and not encounter body armor which may produce more numerous casualties.

You do the same thing when recovering an OZM series mine. Safer to transport them without the cap inside.
