Nastya, I really enjoy your lessons. In English they call it the present continuous if you use “to be” with the gerund (-ing) form if the verb. So, I AM READING (at this moment) versus I read now (in general, from time to time). If you say “I am reading Tolstoy,” for example, however, it can also mean that you are in the process of reading, but you are not doing it every moment in the present. So, I guess it’s tricky in English. Also, you can use the present continuous to mean the future in English: “I am going to the restaurant tonight.”

So, in the case of 1. I love reading, only the first verb in the series of two verbs is conjugated?
@MeeroGamer
@MeeroGamer 5 ай бұрын
As you said we only conjugate the first verb and leave the second one unmodified, Such as: I love reading Я люблю читать We didn't say: Читатю ❌

Additional information: - читать (=to read) is an imperfective verb from the imperfective/perfective pair читать/прочитать. - говорить (to say) is an imperfective verb from the pair говорить/сказать.
