Just take the card for free or for like 9-90 rubles (depends). You can save in some shops substantially, 30 % even. not all are connected to your number tho. since you bbuy in many places from the cashier. nothings asked.... then ofcourse just ask for smoebidy to lend the card in the line. its okay since its not like uptight western countries

Thanks for sharing great video from SPB again Tall Travels. hike prices are everywhere. Russian managed to hold it lower than the western countries. Enjoy your stay at Russia. 👍

@@raycanuck7541 The official inflation in Russia has actually been higher than in most Western countries, but the official wage growth exceeds it, so it has not been a big issue.

They say prices have gone up 10% here in Norway but when I go to the store and do my shopping I and up paying 2-3 times more then it used to cost 2 years ago. Also the Norwegian NOK currency did fall 30% over night 4 years ago and then 20% more around the time the war started and have kept falling even more slowly.

Well I work in a supermarket and that’s exactly what they do over there, the stuff that’s about to get out of date or the food that has passed it’s best before date gets send to the cafe. Many times the vegetables that are ready to be thrown out find it’s way into salads so yeah next time you wonder why these cafes are so cheap, it’s this reason

Eggs - prices by country, December 2023 The calculation was carried out by analysts of the Global Product Price service (University of Georgia, USA). Based on the 82 countries included in our database, the average price is 2.91 USD. According to the latest data, the lowest price was 1.34 US dollars (Russia), and the highest was 6.84 US dollars (New Zealand). Definition: The price is for 12 pieces of non-organic eggs in size M. The data is collected by our own team without automation. In each country, we use at least three sources of price data, such as large store chains and online sellers.

Those sacs for the ketchup are a damned good idea. You're right that Heinz is far more expensive in the UK (I don't like it), but you can buy it on special for much less. I was going over the menu of a schnitzel restaurant in Germany that I used to frequent. The prices are up almost 50% in five years. What was €14 is now €20. Insane. Thanks for the trip down there bier aisle. I saw Stiegl from Australia, and Faxe is from Denmark, I think. It packs a punch.

30:17 As for milk products. There are no EU-originated milk products in Russia since Sept. 2014. Those brands are used either by Europeans companies that place orders at local milk producing companies under theirs own brands or are licensed from EU companies by Russian based companies. The only milk products from Europe are those, originated either from Switzerland (hard cheeses) or... surprise... from Serbia :)

Rampant inflationary prices everywhere in the West . Russia doing a great job keeping prices as low as possible and not profiteering as the supermarkets do in the West .. Russia has a Western backed war forced on her in the Ukraine at her door step and thousands of heavy sanctions imposed on her by the West . In defense of Russia I believe she is doing a great job in managing her economy with all this Western pressure .

15:08 - actually not. That exact Barilla type of pasta isn't imported - it is produced locally. That's why such a price. Those types of Barilla, that are actually imported from Italy are about 300-400 RUB per 0.5 kilo.
@TallTravels10 ай бұрын
Aha! That makes sense, I didn't know they do that with the pasta as well the beer.
@eduardtibet10 ай бұрын
@@TallTravels BTW, there is a quite tricky thing about packaging. They are identical to those, that are imported except of production codes with small letters, i.e. B, A, C, etc. And only by looking at code you can understand what exact country of origin that exact batch of the product has.

Sasha , Take care . Are you going to see a doctor for your illness ? Maybe cold medicine and sleep it off for a few days ? Sorry that you have food intolerances . Makes it tough to cook for a family , and to find something for yourself that you can find to buy , and not get bored.You and my oldest granddaughter could have a long discussion on that .She has to read every word on every label . For example I was going to buy barbecued chickens , but the last comment on the label said contains gluten ! Oh my gosh ! Besides having diabetes and celiac , her husband is a picky eater . Her four year old has food intolerances , and at least the baby eats baby food and milk from her mama. To top it off , others are not very nice when someone has intolerances ! Eat what you can !

It was only a short cold water I'm better already. I didn't have any I tolerances until about 10-12 years ago when I started having issues with milk and milk products. Now I don't completely cut out gluten, but try not to eat too much. Otherwise I have a healthy appetite 😊. I'm glad I can taste food, some people that lost smell like me due to covid have big problems with their taste still.
