Konstantin is good. Did a camp where he was training us. I agree though. This isn't sparring as such just fun motion drill for positioning. But Attacker should keep his hand up higher as well.

and a good thing, too. you use a technique like the back of head shot at 2:54 with an uncompliant partner it's gonna cause problems. That would have been an illegal blow in mma or boxing. but they can train those sorts of hits with intelligent avoidance and dispersion of the force, often by falling or rolling to avoid and go with power. people mistake the intelligent avoidance of serious blows with compliance. this is what systema sparring looks like. you should feel what it feels like. I have been hit by KK and it's not joke. neither is this style of training. competitve arts think that cooperative training is inferior, but my experience tells me the opposite is true. if your learning how to do dangerous things you need to learn how to practice them safely. systema has done an excellent job of developing a cooperative training method that develops excellent fighting skills and also health and relaxation.

Yes it's not a super committed sparring and yes there could be more connection between the two but this kind of exercise (brought like this I mean) is new to pierre.
