Other guys did amazing job deciphering the stuff, though I guess I can do just a tad better translating it (and playing nerd ^_^). 0:26-0:50 - ‘Зимушка-зима’. Basically, these are two words, which both mean ‘winter’, only the first one is something like a short name (Mikey-Mike, Lizzy-Liz), but affectionate. This repetitive construction with an affectionate form and a neutral one is very common in Russian traditional folk songs: ‘poliushko-pole’ (‘fieldy-field’). 0:50-0:53 - ‘Вдоль по улице метелица метёт’. Literally ‘Drifting snow goes in the street’. It’s the first line of a famous Russian folk song. 0:53-1:51 - ‘Святой Лазарь за вербой лазил’. A saying, which literally means something like ‘St. Lazarus looked for a willow [branch]’, though, in Russian the phrase rhymes. It refers to the Lazarus Saturday and the following Palm Sunday (which in Russian is called the Willow Sunday, hence the willow reference). BTW, ‘верба’ (‘verba’) is some special kind of a willow (purple willow?), which blooms very early, and it’s usually considered as the first mark of spring. 1:51-2:17 - ‘Твори и удивляй’. ‘Create and amaze’. 2:17-2:39 - ‘Лето пролетело’. ‘Summer has flown away’. There’s a little wordplay in the phrase, because Russian ‘to fly away’ (‘proLETat’) accidentally has same part as ‘summer’ (‘LETo’). So, the summer is sorta supposed to pass quickly. 2:39-2:42 - ‘Ёпонский городовой’. Literally means something like ‘Japanese policeman’, but basically, it’s just a saying like ‘Oh, damn’, ‘Oh, shoot’. As somebody has mentioned, the first letter should be 'Я' ('ya'). I'm guessing, it's changed just for fun. 2:42-2:59 - ‘Дуняша’. ‘Dunyasha’. Affectionate version of a short woman’s name ‘Dunya’. The full name is ‘Yevdokiya’ or ‘Avdotiya’. Yes, there are two versions of the full name too: a noble-ish one (the former) and a common one (the latter). Russian names are totally crazy sometimes ^_^ 2:59-3:39 - ‘Дорого яичко ко Христову дню’. A proverb, literally translating like ‘An egg is precious on the Easter eve’, meaning ‘Everything should be done in due time’. 3:39-4:23 - ‘Без вербы не весна’. ‘There’s no spring without a willow’. 4:23-5:11 - ‘Умиротворение’. ‘Tranquility’. Or ‘Peace of mind’. 5:11-6:00 - ‘Танечка’. Affectionate version (again ^_^) of a short woman’s name ‘Tanya’. The full one is ‘Tatiana’. 6:00-6:56 - ‘А у нас в Тюмени хороши пельмени’. ‘And in our Tyumen we have very good pelmeni’. Just a rhyming phrase, apparently. Tyumen is a large Russian city. ‘Pelmeni’, it’s a dish, something like dumplings with meat, very popular in Russia, supposedly originating from Ural region, where Tyumen is located.

Dear Channel, Vyaz is not necessarily Russian. It's more ancient Slavic. You can find it as decorative interior wall writings of Orthodox churches throughout Ukraine and Belarus, for example. It also was used during the early Middle Ages in book printing on the territory of today's Ukraine, Belarus and European part of Russia. To compare, you don't call Blackletter typeface the German Script because it was used in Germany but you call it Blackletter or Gothic because they wrote with it in more countries.

Русь is not equal to Россия. Same as Austria is not equal to Australia, same as West Virginia is not equal to Western Virginia. Moscow principality branched out from Rus at some point and later started calling themselves Rus. That's why foreigners should educate themselves.
