The first singer is the lead singer of Putin's favorite pop group, the second singer is a gay, one of whose video clips was recently officially banned in Russia for LGBT propaganda, but he supports the Kremlin and the war in Ukraine. At the end of this video Solovyev in his speech calls Russian soldiers in Ukraine “warriors of light.” This expression is from a song about Ukrainian Maidan barricade antiputin warriors written by Ukrainian citizen rock singer Sergei Mikhalok, who's now banned in Russia, but his songs still are very popular all over former USSR. Expressions from his songs have become popular expressions of the Russian language. So, as we see, it's amazing hodgepodge. By the way, 10 years ago one of the performers on this stage of the main Moscow New Year's TV show was comedian Volodymyr Zelensky with sketches and songs, now he is the President of Ukraine. If you write in Google Video search "Zelensky Galkin 2013" you can find it.

Have you some idea about who are the militaries we've seen there? Doing a strike on such event would be illegal if not about the presence of militaries in uniforms, and I suppose these are "brasses" tightly connected to the regime, therefore, sending some SCALPs would have been appropriate, moreover, te real range being 560km (source : RAF pilot interviewed by the BBC after a strike in Syria), Moscow is in the range profile (yup!). In terms of party crashing, I must say AFU would have entered the history as elite-party crasher, especially since such vents are usually live broadcasts... Hunter S. Thompson would have labelled it as straight outa the 5th Reich. The real name of the missile is SCALP-EG, it's made by MBDA-France and it's an acronym in French, so the Brits renamed it Storm Shadow, but without taking care of acronyms, SCALP sounds much better, and even more logical since it comes from a parent missile designed to demolish of an airbase runway foundations which's acronym is APACHE only French air-force has. 5-6 like these and an airbase is neutralised, you have to rebuild the runway...

I don't think I've ever seen so many shit eating, terrified grimaces in one place at the same time. Congratulations ruSSia, youve outdone yourselves. 😂

Just a question on the side. Where does the saying "Salt of the earth" come from? Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't salt make the ground/earth "infertile"?

@@moeermotz9564 Hm. I wasn't refering to anything. But now that you mention it. Could go waaay back in history, when they found salt IN the earth. And since salt was useful for preparing food and making it "durable", therefore a very expensive good, maybe it means something like this?

What a boring 1950s ish Lawrence Welk show ish, but in an even creepier way. Young women with frozen smiles sitting with men old enough to be their grandfather, everyone staying seated with no groups talking, etc.

The same show they broadcast in 1965 it's only in colour now,and backthen most russians had no television, oh wait that's still the case.
