The interesting part is that the song is actually very VERY sad and heartbreaking but due to the way he sings it and how upbeat the music is most people miss how this is a song about heartbreak and some say suicide after a break up.

The concept of the video was based on a TV appearance of the Beatles back in the 1960s. So yes this was based on an actual thing, also back then no one had as much access to artist as we do now.

Only once have I ever truly experienced a fan-girl moment like the girls depicted in this video (and elsewhere)... 2001, "A Walk Down Abbey Road"...was performed locally and one of the musicians involved was John Entwistle, bass player in The Who. Up until seeing him on stage, I didn't understand and couldn't relate to these types of reactions (the girls)...but, from the moment when he came on stage and played his first note until the time he played his last note and left the stage, my inner fan girl was SCREEEEAMING! And it was then that I understood. But, like I mentioned above, that's the only time that I've ever truly experienced my inner fan girl.
