Yeah....the impatience of people driving in traffic in the New York / New Jersey area is renowned, and unfortunately, not in a good way. Their impatience of drivers constantly blowing the horn with examples of road rage is so prominent, it is even featured in movies, and is considered normal there. The video highlighting results of the Russian military training helps to confirm it is comparable to training in Canada, the US, and the United Kingdom. It also confirms why we need to get along, and respect each other's culture. In my view, we have far more similarities than differences. The only thing this training video shows is how cringe their propaganda is. Because that's all that is, bad propaganda. No one actually trains like that and its actually BAD to do so. Its solely intended to look flashy and impressive like your watching an action movie. Its supposed to dazzle people who don't know any better, that all that deal they are doing will get a real person killed in combat. Listen I'm a US Marine OIF combat vet. A buddy I spend time with regularly is with the green berets in a special forces group. I know how real training is done. We have a few sayings that really drive things home. "Slow is smooth, smooth is fast" and "if you look flashy your probably doing it wrong". you should not look like your in an action movie. I am not saying Russian special forces are inferior to American. They are legit and just as dangerous. And pretty crazy but I degress. They have some weird techniques like their ground gun fighting stuff but by and large train in the same fundamental ways as we do...which isn't anything like this. The one big difference is you will never see a ridiculous video like this for the SEALs, Delta, Madrid ECT.

that video probably wasnt the spetsnaz and it's not any sort of training. it seemed to be a bunch of choreographed acrobats. very good acrobats with an entertaining routine. the real spetsnaz are the most elite military special forces in the world. rumor has it that some die during training because it's so brutal. those who survive can take on anything. and they arent acrobats, or pretend to be ninjas. they are super deadly with any fire arm, and their special ballistic knife(yes, they can literally SHOOT a knife). it is also said they always save their last grenade in case they are captured......they would rather blow themselves up than risk giving anyone any information.

The Russian Spetnatz are like America's U.S. Army Special Forces (SF) and the U.S. Navy SEALS. Interesting that 90% of the Russian Spetnatz force in Ukraine was wiped out. Two movies--12 Strong, about the first US Special Forces team into Afghanistan after 911 and Lone Survivor, U.S. Navy Seal team in Afghanistan, are accurate portrayals of American special forces. It is good to practice driving outside a major city in a suburb and after the morning and evening rush hour. Gives you practice with minimal drivers on the road. Glad you are in America.

I am one of those impatient drivers. As one of those impatient drivers, the irritation is quite temporary. I'm not going home angry about something that happened on the road. I yell, then it's gone...it's just stress. Don't let someone else throw you, just do your thing. Maybe check out some of the American military training vids....just for contrast. A lot of this is for show, with the aerobatics . Yet Spetsnaz are legit tough. Their training is crawling under barbed wire with pigs blood. They have to hold their breath as they crawl under. The psychological affects is to desensitise them to blood and violence, since pigs are so close to humans, the 5 senses react. And it is all about removing that. Upmost respect to Spetsnaz and their forces from the U.K.

It's kinda comical seeing so much focus on hand-to-hand combat and acrobatics. It's almost like they're trying to be ninjas or something. With as old as I am now, I wouldn't want to fight any of them but I do see a lot of holes in their attacks that really make them vulnerable to counter attacks. Though to be fair, I did see some pretty good tactics in there from time to time.

First off, don't stress over driving. The more you do it the better and more comfortable you'll be. I'm the jerk where if someone is riding my bumper or honking I will go slower. As long as it's not so slow that its dangerous. As far as the video I believe that they are what we consider special forces. But as I understand it all special forces in Russia are classified under Spetsnaz. Although, I do not doubt they are highly trained and effective. I think what they were doing was more flash for the camera. I'm thinking there's probably not a whole lot of gymnastics going on in combat or a lot of trampolines on the battlefield. Probably, no combat rolls in full gear either just putting your muzzle into the ground. Granted a dirty AK would still probably fire but you generally don't want to put your barrel in the dirt if possible. And why jump through a car window after the guy exited while letting him burn?? If the car has stopped shouldn't you put him out?? Idk lol

Somewhere in the world, SAS, Delta force, and DEVGRU operators are watching this laughing their asses off. Like yeah the flips and flying roundhouse kicks are cool and all but you won’t be able to run with 40 kg of gear on your body and land a Spartan kick on a guy with a AK-47. them all on the side of that armored carrier in a real battle they would be slaughtered in the open like that. They are athletic, brutal, and tough mf’s I’ll give them that but the overall skills needed to be a elite SF operator are lacking. When you look at their operations, you see in their rescues large amounts of hostages are killed, and in many instances during a assault against 5-6 people, over 10 spetnaz are wounded. Compared to Delta, SAS, DEVGRU operators who in an operation will kill 40+ enemies without a single operator being injured, or rarely loosing hostages during a rescue and if any it’s very few. I’m aware this is a show and not their full training but the lack of effectiveness of their training shows during their missions.

When you get better at driving, just mostly stay in the right lane and look up at your rearview mirror once in a while. Bad drivers will reveal themselves and you are one of the club.
