The first one is really adaptable. You can make the soft side section an air-lock, and behind it can be squares or triangles, and I found out that after you build the interior foundations, you can remove the lowered interior foundation which you place the twig half-wall on, which lets you have room for a small oil refinery on the ground right in front of the bunker seal.

Bro, the background music takes me back. I came here because i was wondering about the different types of bunkers after watching Evil Wurst's Serenity 2 video for the 20th time. I'm new to the game so I was wondering if that version of the stability bunker was still viable? (It was a roof bunker on a twig floor connected to a raised triangle foundation.)

There is another offset bunker you can build that you open from the outside with placing a roof.... i feel like its much better and can be used in 1x2 and 2x2 no problem

You can still make roof bunkers using twig frames if the backside clips into terrain. You have to drop down to get into the bunkered area. It's possible to have a stability and roof bunker combined together, but you need to lay a twig foundation + half wall going into the terrain first and the placement of that is really hard.

the offset bunker has more than one problem - try to put wall nex to it to make it more than one wall from side - it will mess the bunker stabulity and it will not open =)

you can get around this by building your honeycomb out from other tiles of the base and not the one that is offset

how to spawn on the bag with a spear. using selfkill you got only a stone and the torch, usually sealing is one part, but would like to see how to get out of it, from last one. also interesting how it is integrated and used in a base build

Build the extra to stop soft side. Its way to easy to realize its a bunker and once thats known they will break the foundation.

Was going to ask-haven't played in a few months but as long as I remember you can shoot an incend rocket into the corner where the two roof pieces meet to burn the twig. Still vulnerable to that?

Just a weird fact stability bunker if U put traigle roofs of soft side TCS the bunk won't work roofs give stability

Offset is easily raided with a few explosive rounds. Easily spottable pixel gap and you can shoot the wall frame.

You can still build a roof bunker without thatch on the top side. Just use 2 triangle roofs with the side triangle being thatch that you can break and build at any time. This removes the need to upgrade it everytime you want to close the bunker. The key here is that when you have a triangle roof and you place another at it, it will cut off the edges just wide enough you can slip through. Just make sure to use the default skins (as container skin is different and doesn't work).

I wish you had an explainer for this. I never understood what the purpose of a bunker is? How do I run and put loot back into my base if it is sealed? Why for the final bunker did you need to build so many triangles away to just place simple walls and foundations? I don't get it.

Bunkers are mostly used for when you log off to stop offline raids. Walls are much stronger than doors

@@john6717 2 main ways bunkers are incorporated as being a thing you use instead of a door for your core when your log off in smaller bases (seal reopen when you get on) and ones that are in bigger bases that are separate from core but are more protected.

I have done this, accidentally picked up my bag forgot to put It back down and kill & respawn , I had to wait for the wood in my tc to run out then the twig to decay took forever , thankfully I didn’t have much wood in tc , would’ve just quit if it was full

I think it just got patched because after you come back after the first 15 triangles out you are not able to place the triangle in the correct way

@@mitchell7692 There are couple conditions you need to fullfill, for example all the triangles need to be placed at same height, you cant have one foundation higher or loweer than the main one, other thing is that you need to place the frame while having your back towards the wall that you build from the build out. I reccomend going on a build server and try out all the thin gs that influence the bunker

Honestly I was struggling with the same issue of it not placing every time. My theory is it has to do with the orientation of the triangles around the bunker triangle foundation. Try looking at some other videos on the same topic, other creators may know a solution.

Guys let me tell you something...Raiders nowadays will just blow your walls, bunker or not..Especially a bunker made into the core. Much better to build bunkers on the 3rd or 4th floor or even better with your external tc's ;-) Edit: I think I'm going to make a KZbin channel because every bases on YT look the same, they are so predictable...

keep practicing, when it isn't working you're snapping to the base foundations instead of the twig you just placed. it's a little tricky but re-watch and notice the placement of the foundation legs. where they overlap and how it toggles from the base foundations to the twig he placed.
