Just use a AND switch, its way simpler. Port A goes to the power port B goes to the HBFS, if the HB get triggert the AND logic will apply and boom lights turn on

Cool system! I usually go with a circuit that uses an and gate and an electrical branch for sensor lights. It’s really cool to see the different ways players use electricity. One of the best additions to the game IMO.

Good for a local setup and to a higher power destination.... but if you want a remote sensor, use RF transmitter and receiver. Small power source directly to HBHF sensor, straight to RF transmitter which only needs 1. Then in the main base, main power in to RF receiver set to same frequency, and power out to the circuit handling the lights. This allows very small remote spots along the perimeter with low power HBHF trigger the lights much sooner.

This can be done more efficiently using an AND switch. Anytime you want to flow more current through something like the heartbeat sensor, just AND the power source and the sensor output together.

**Edit: Just tested your circuit on a test server, sadly using the AND switch isn't a more economic method because while the HB sensor is not detecting an enemy, the Spotlight is still using full electricity even if the light if off, that's just how those switches work. They don't fully turn off whether the HB sensor is on or off so your batteries will be drained. My circuit doesn't draw electricity when the spot light is off.

@@MisterFlak how does it not draw energy? When the sensor sees no one the mem cell outputs the power to the left output, which i presume you are leaving empty. This is still used power, as the only way to "not draw power" is to kill the circuit with a blocker

@@BigRog203 You could use a blocker in this system. Branch off 1 electric from a branch from the start of the system into a XOR switch. Run the hbnf into the other XOR input then put the XOR output into the blocker. Run the main power through the blocker and it will be blocked unless the XOR doesn't let power through the switch. Which happens when the hbnf allows pass through.

nice. In case you get a "And Swich" you can do branch out 2 to HBHF -> "And Swich" port B; power out branch to "And Swich" port A; this setup only uses 4 energy

I usualy use a double blocker, where blocker 1 blocks blocker 2. Then the hbf sensor blocks blocker one, this unblocks blocker 2 and releases all the power you need through this blocker.

mr flak, if you put a blocker before the searchlight and then hook the invert to the block you will reduce energy conusption by 9. getting 7 instead of 16, except when its activated ofcourse.

I expect it more being of a deterrent then it will actualy allow you to kill someone I will give this a fair testrun, I'd run like hell soon as I get lit up like that therefor 64 power to light up all flanks is a bit much for my taste as a slowmo solo player , but I can see this being a perfect nighttime solution.

You can use an AND Gate + Branch. The AND Gate will let power through with 2 sources both active (1 from branch and 1 from HB Sensor). It will then stay active while the HB is on, but not while off. This memory cell thing is unneccessary :o

(Edit) Actually, I retested and the 2 blockers is electrically more efficient(5pwr compared to 15) but your circuit uses slightly less materials.

@@MisterFlak Sorry, 15 pwr for my circuit and 14 for the memory cell circuit with the light on. I got my light on pwr mixed up with your light off pwr. I'm talking about idle power for a minimum 1light circuit. When the blocker circuit is idle it only draws 5pwr for the circuit. The memory cell circuit will constantly draw 14pwr when idle or on.
