RE-UPLOAD DUE TO ME DELETING IT LIKE AN IDIOT!
🔌🌩 RUST - Electricity guide - Beginner to PRO in 10 minutes 🔌🌩
So in today's' guide we tackle the wonderful world of RUST. I will show you how the electricity system works and work through with you from some basic circuits starting off with the small battery and a ceiling light. I will then show you how to link solar panels and multiple solar panels to one power source in order to run more electrical items in your circuit.
I will eventually show you how to stop door campers in rust using the HBHF sensor and a sentry turret. All you have to do is link the door you're using to a door controller. link up to a broadcaster or an aerial and let the items talk to each other. The wireless rust electricity components are the most underrated of them all and completely hide the wires and let the signal link to your RUST pager. Remember not to run with the signal automatically entered into your pager otherwise you will give people access to your electricity system. The biggest point I have is to NEVER use your door code for your electronic frequency otherwise you wont only lose your electronics, you will lose your base too!
Remember to leave some love if you're a legend and subscribe if you want to see more.

Another cool thing my group managed to do with the Receiver and Transmitter was to hook them up to sam turrets and whenever you leave the base on a heli, you click the button and it turns off the sam turrets for about one minute before they power back up and the same for when you are flying back to the base.

This video got me super invested into Rust Electricity and I'm loving it! I figured out why you said the pass-through for the siren lights don't work at 6:58 in the video. It's not bugged. Its because the HBHF Sensor can only output one electricity (Regardless of how much is coming in) so it can only turn on one light with its output. If you connect enough power to a AND switch with the power out of the HBHF sensor then enough power can pass through to light up however many alarms you have set up.
@AniCodYT
@AniCodYT 4 жыл бұрын
@@samloveland8798 this is a really good tip! its bugged me why they didnt let you power whatever you needed through one sensor but at least theres a way around it

Hi, I have 4 turrets in base and 3 large solar panels, I made 3 medium batteries in series I mean for buffering but the turets are just turning on and off constantly, is that cuz of batery setup ?
@AniCodYT
@AniCodYT 4 жыл бұрын
@@CristuMetin2 Turrets only use 10 power. Medium batteries output 50 meaning you should easily be able to power these turrets with 1 medium battery. Try linking the 3 solar panels into 1 battery. The main problem is at night the battery could completely drain.
@DeanWilliams1987
@DeanWilliams1987 4 жыл бұрын
the HBHF sensor is not a bug, it returns a binary response, 0 = no, 1 = yes - so you have to configure a OR switch to pass through the power you require to your activated objects.

to the compound players, if u use the door controll function with a autoturrent inside ur base, its really helpful, because raiders cant shoot out the autoturrent before jumping in, and as soon as somebody enter the compound every thing opens. Had alot of fun with that, defended 6 online raids with that, and lasted to the end of the wipe

If you take the single power output from the Sensor into one input of a AND Switch and then take a branch with say 10 power into the other input of the AND switch, then when the sensor is activated it will allow the highest (being 10) input to pass through.

I think most people just want to set up turrets and lights. The problem is having the right components. I have a setup that uses a blocker, but I spent 5 hours looking for one today. Since my knowledge of electricity only allows me to use a certain set of components, I couldn't set up turrets till I found the missing electrical piece. I would love to see a guide on setting up turrets using medium/large battery, with/without a switch, with/without electrical branch, or blocker, or splitter. There's so many combinations that knowing a setup with the components that you have at that time is the biggest advantage.

There are a few setups that can use a Blocker or an XOR or an OR switch, depending on how you configure it..most commonly for automatic lights in the evening. It's worth learning all of them so you can setup whatever you have the BPs for. Otherwise...research every T1 BP you have in your base and then start doing experiments.

As a new player I couldn't figure out what these things were for on the tech 1 tree. Seemed "useless". That auto door open thing is a game changer for a boat base. No more awkward bumping the door, walking forward to open the garage, then remounting to drive the boat in, and then running back to close the garage all while praying no one's watching. I figure now I can open it up from a bit out, ram the boat in, and hop out mashing the trigger again. Ez pz.
