IMPORTANT VIDEO UPDATE: It turns out that the order in which you daisy chain the power through the conveyors matters!! If you do it the way I did in the video (products > charcoal > sulfur/charcoal sorter > wood > raw ore) it works as intended. Some players have experience problems after daisy chaining power using a different route (thank you to the individual who brought this to my attention). I will investigate this weirdness later. I'm having a problem where the wood conveyor stays off after receiving a signal from the raw conveyor. Could this be due to the power routing? Thank you.

Omg . I thought I was the only one that had a problem. My wood wasn’t feeding at all (including the igniter) But everything else cycled as normal. So I just stacked my furnace with wood and ignited the furnace. It’s a quick workaround:) BTW @AustinKllailaGames, I wanted to thank you for your content. 😊

Hey Austin, another great video! 2 quick notes for you 1. That igniter toggling is due to a "dirty" line - what I mean by that is since your wood conveyor is getting power from another conveyor, it makes the line dirty and will pulse the igniter every time a conveyor prior in the circuit activates. I recommend powering the wood conveyor first, then passing through to the other conveyors to fix this. (if the error still persists, the wood conveyor may just need to be powered entirely separately) 2. Furnaces smelt at a fixed rate, split among the stacks. For example, 1 stack of sulfur will burn at 1x speed, but if you have 2 stacks, they will each burn at 0.5x speed etc. so you don't need to have any more than 1 stack of each ore type.

Thanks! I also enjoyed your multi furnace build as well! Very cool. I figured it was something weird with the wood conveyor, just had no clue what it was lol. And you're correct about smelt rate. I meant to talk about it in terms of wood cost and as a comparison against regular furnaces rather than itself.

Yo THANK YOU for this guide, it's exactly what I was looking for to setup my large furnace. I greatly appreciate the effort and quality you put into this too! Is the text labeling just something you can do with the frames?

Some incredible ideas here mate, love it. Something to maybe add to a V2, is an additional conveyor on the output splitter that gets triggered by the HBHF as well, that exists exclusively to suck all the remaining ore out of the furnaces and dump it all back into your input boxes. I'm still figuring out all the Rust electrical stuff, so I'm sure there's a few ways this could be done, but would add some extra security maybe? Keep it going man, love the inspiration!

Thanks! And that's an amazing idea. I'll implement that in version 2! Credit goes to you for the idea.

When i set this up the sending of both the uncooked and cooked products work but the igniter isnt turning the furnaces on as i have to manually turn them on but everything works fine. Thanks for the great video

Great content and Great video. I've chained 3 furnaces, and 3 large! work without splits! Igniter with 1 power dont turn on itself but light furnaces(probably a little igniter bug). Don't need that timer just connect filter pass with igniter and work well! you need more power if you have multiple igniters, so need to connect filter pass to AND controller.

I don't get to turn on the big furnaces. What I observed (and I would imagine is my fault), my fail signal from my cooked ore conveyor is giving 1 power to the 6 wood conveyor and even passing uncooked ore the fail reverts back the turn off from the wood conveyor, which makes sense because nothing is passing in the beginning. Am I missing something?

I've been watching a shit ton of your vids the last couple of days. Where you have the conveyor pushing ore to the furnaces, could you put a third conveyor with the stack filter settings and keep the safe mode settings on the top conveyor? Also. If a guy is sensed by the hbhf sensor, whats stopping you from setting it up to suck all remaining ore out of the furnaces?

imagine taking the time to do this only to get offlined and have it all destroyed.. heartbreaking. I added a delay to the cutoff of the wood conveyor to prevent shutoffs when the product conveyor takes the product out faster than it can be smelted.. Also would help for servers that can vary speed of craft/smelt times. Looks badass btw.. I wish I could get my wires that straight

This is awesome. I'm not clear tho on how you'd add 4 total igniters and still run the same system specs.. since for most people their furnaces are not going to be 2squares within a single igniter.

could the spurts be happening because when you first start the furnaces they may be going out really quickly. from the filter fail on the charcoal conveyor intially not taking in charcoal so its still"failing" briefly before immediately turning back on?

Rumor has it they’re reverting the behavior back on the next update so that daisy chained furnaces or boxes will automatically split, so it will be simpler (again).

I've been having trouble with this set up. Granted, I'm not using a timer, but it is in regards to the wood conveyor Turn On/Turn Off not working. I have Turn On of Wood conveyor going to Filter Pass of the conveyor with ore going into the large furnace. The Turn Off on the wood conveyor is wired to the Filter Fail on the conveyor putting product into the storage box. They work fine independently, but they seem to be counteracting each other when they are both hooked up. It loads ore into the furnace, but doesn't kick on the wood conveyor. I wonder if it just refuses to as long as there's power coming from the Filter Fail? Thoughts?
