Thanks for taking the time to make this video and for posting it on here. Really appreciate it. And really glad you’re happy with it. You can treat the exhaust if you’d like too. :). And you mentioned copper slip, you can use the Lanoguard Moto Grease as a build grease too. Just a thought. Thanks again, Mark, Lanoguard.

No problem. I am not going to bother with the exhaust as i think i might get a stainless system soon but thank you for letting me know.

Hi lanogard, I'm part way through the rebuild of a 1975 mini clubman estate. It's on a spit roast right now and will have zero rust when painted. So after I paint and before I reassemble would you recommend this product? I'm thinking of covering everything, inside the sills the entire floor, inside the wheel arches, both subframes, the list goes on. Then reassemble so that the product is everywhere on all surfaces between components etc not just over the top. Is this recommended for this sort of classic car application?

I came for the reviews before I bought and now I’ve bought it for my 2001 fiesta Zetec s I’ve got the kit but wished they added at least a wire brush to the kits, but if it works out I’m deffo a yearly customer

Great video fella.Open and honest. AS your LR looks a comp vehicle, am sure that those tyres will chuck up some 'shrapnal' testing the product. I would be interested to see the interfaces, where the Alu panels meet steel ( not always best of friends ! ) I am convinced. Thanks very much. Be lucky.

I am undecide. On a relatively new truck that has some sort of existing coating it will look OK. However on an old truck, - especially if you live in a salt-belt like The Highlands, or near the coast the truck will always look rusty. Pity they do not do a black version, like in the states. Because of this you will always wonder if it is doing its job especially inside the box cavities. Where I live under protection is an annual event, and have used Dinitrol. I may be going back to it.

Very impressive, how much on average would an installation cost if a paid professional installer carried out the work for customers?

I've bought some of this Lanoguard to do the underside of my DC2-R Integra and a Honda Jazz. I hope it's as good as you say. I have used Bilt Hamber products with great results but they're difficult and messy to apply although they work well. If this Lanoguard is as good and easy to apply, I think I will have found my 'go to' anti corrosion product for the future.

I read on lanoguards site you can spray straight onto rust!! Won't that keep rusting underneath or will it stop it going any further??
@andyb51872 жыл бұрын
Apparently it hermetically seals the surface and with rust requiring oxygen I think it basically pauses it in its tracks and it should stay that way until there is a break in the surface again.

So you sanded all the rust off the chassis. Rubbed it down. Applied red oxide primer and black top coat. Then applied lanoguard? After only a few thousand miles I’d like to think the chassis would be good with or without lanoguard? Need to try lanoguard on a rusty chassis to see if their claims are correct.

Can you spray the lanoguard straight to the surface rust. Or do you need to use a rust converter first. Not sure how to find the video when you applied it
