Pluki, once you fix the rust immediately protect it with a bitumen. I mean the underneath, the rockers, the back angle where you fixed the rust, etc. I used HB Body 950/930 and it still goes strong after few years, no rust at all. We basically clean the surface as much as possible and sprayed it with gun. The rockers can be first sprayed with HB Body 950 and it can be overpainted with any color, the 930 can not be overpainted so i used it for inside. Btw you did a great job.

Thank you so much for your comment. I painted underneath the car with bitumen and on visible places I used some sort of rubber coating but you did a lot better. Thank you so much on my other niva I am going to do it like you :)

Hi pluki, nice job so far. I would say the main piece of advise I give beginners is not to be afraid to cut more metal out, it's much easier to weld on to good clean metal than regret not cutting enough out. I wish I'd know you needed to repair your rear quarter, I have the repair panels here and you could have had them for the price of postage!

Hi. Great job! Could you tell me what wheel and tyre size you are running? Are those wheels a different offset to std?

Thank you! I had those wheels but I sold them, tyres was BFGoodrich Mud Terrain TA KM2 215/75 R15 and rims from kia sportage. I never new what offset they are but fitment was pretty good but a little of scraping if lada isnt lifted

I certainly support you and follow everything you do, I'm only sorry that you didn't record the procedures on my car, but it's better if you didn't, because then it would have taken even longer. a joke of course, everything was within the agreed time frame, very meticulously done, and my support once again
