If you ever make a trap base, you allways have a loot base few houses from it (but not too far, you need to see the other base) and every game night in the darkness(when it has got quiet) haul 1 to 2 hauls to the lootbase. Every trap base gets looted much sooner than any other base, so be smart and do not loose that much (loot base or loot bases, a 2x2 is enought).

If oblivion had moved the gear after, this would be a good trap base ... never make your trap base your main... kill a few, move loot ... That way he can then waste a few dozen rockets and get nothing back... Best to run a trap base with a few man team.. one opperates the TB, the others move loot... But overall this video was funny

@@josephwebster4101 Completely true! Many rust content creators say never make trap base a main(it can be main temporarily), and also build your main base some distance away! Also, another tip, have multiple main bases, at least if you are a group. It is both good against online(you can spawn and shoot from the other bases) and offline raiders(they need to use more explosives etc compared to upkeep cost, and bigger chance people will try to counter raid them). Too bad the developers till now has "patched" a lot of the tricks that you could use, ok, some were straight up bugs; but even the tricks that required lots of creativity to use was removed... I just hope the electricity/circuitry patch will make up for both all the building "nerfs" and the upkeep system! The current thing is to do multi tc bases, so both the griefing is harder and upkeep is smaller for larger bases (it is multiple bases that are slightly offset to eachother). But that is not always easy, especially on small islands... It's harder to be solo now than before in Rust, eh?

Wonder how salty he would have been then...lol Your right though solo is tough... But if he had resealed base after a few kills and gone back and forth from perhaps a bunch of well built starters. This could have been epic and he wouldn't have had to rebuild 4 times. Lol

I just wanna see someone hide turrets with a small stack of ammo or something in the honeycombing of the trap base so when you get raided(which will inevitably happen with trap bases) the first person will shoot rockets or c4 & open it & instantly die to the turret. When using a trap base like that you need a TC in your hot bar so you can just slap a TC upstairs when they yeet at your TC like they did. So they don't instantly take over your base. Or exterior TCs so it doesn't matter if they get it or not.
