Yeah, Blocker with Retaliate really negates RustTyrannomon unfortunately : ( I've heard of some Black base OTK RustTyrannomon builds that seem focused on getting blocker and high DP boosters as inheritables, but they are primarily focused on walling black wargreymon. Besides that, I can’t think of any options that can move around Retaliate focused decks, and are looking to be a bad match up for RustTyrannomon in general. Especially when you want to run multiple Tyrannomon variants, and they are going to be champion and above; Making early game rushing a weaker point of the deck.

Yes! Great input for Tyrannomon that hopefully helps/inspires new builds. Play testing really helps tweak these ideas into solid builds that Tyranno will need. But yes, unfortunately Retaliation is Green’s nightmare 😩 appreciate the comment!

Tyranno couldn't play green mem boost at the beginning since he didn't have a green card (Tyranno is only green in play) Still awesome series.

Thats right because in the breeding area no effects are live

I forgot that stun with bottom deck is usually a good way to remove retaliate blockers, and is green’s specialty. However, the tamer focus built with tyrannomon makes it pretty tight to squeeze in option cards that offer that. Hydramon, and Gran De Soul come to mind, but their costs are heavy, and don’t synergize with tyrannomon too well compared to bloomlordmon.

Yeah our build went Taiga focused tamers to see how wel they can perform & they do a pretty good job at reducing costs, keeping turn alive. 1 instance, we were able to evolve into BT11 Rust for 1 which was awesome, but yeah purple is amazing for what it’s doing in this match. Should’ve kept more Terriermons on field would’ve been better idea in that match.

Yo, first time seeing your stuff I really enjoy the set up that shows both players turns as it's their turn (makes it easier for me to follow) Subed as soon as I could I love Tyrannomon, always have bur mostly because I still love Dinosaurs so it works out Quick question, what would you say I'd your personal favorite Digimon in the franchise Mine is Wormmon and Beelzemon/Impmon with DemiMeramon and DemiDevimon (not in that order specifically)

At 0.52 you couldn't have used green memory boost cause you only control a red color card.

I don't know why people aren't looking at the fact the new lv4 tyrannomon is red/green, so you can have a red base. The deck wants you to play GREEN and Black tamers. You're Bt11 Rusttyranomon untaps on BOTH TURNS if it kills. Metal trashes on both turns also, but nobody is giving it blocker.

Question, doesn't digi xros only active when playing from hand? Cause Minervamon says play from trash and other cards like Shoutmon X5B let's you play a digimon from trash too

It doesn't matter where the digimon is played from for digi xros. You do have to use materials from the hand or field unless a card says otherwise (like merva can use one from trash)

Tyrannomon is simply to low power to take victories off a deck like merva, especially against retaliate. I personally like the more tamer jijimon build, but that's definitely more of a jijimon deck than a tyrannomon deck.
