I was only 8 years old so I barely understood what anything meant in the show, but that didn't stop me from watching each show over 50 times a year until I was 12. I still remember my older brother getting irritated at me because I pronounced ki as "kai" and now I feel his pain as well. Not just for the anime that began my journey, but I feel that same pain for all anime words that get mispronounced. Toriyama-Sensei inspired hearts and created childhoods, one of which was mine. I truly can never thank you enough for that, Toriyama-Sensei. In fact, you'd probably tell all of us "I was only doing what I love, and bringing smiles to the faces of children and adults alike.""
