If you build your 2x2 directly north too south when starting it helps allot getting these off set placements down and you can also use them as quick call outs then a random number say the front of your base is north of ya call out south everyone knows there behind the base so just a quick tip

Pro Tip: the height of your freehand triangle foundations needs to be almost exactly the height of your base foundations. Once you place the triangles, break the low walls and look at square vs the triangles. If they are lower, you aimed too low. If they are higher , you aimed too high. Once you find the right spot you can place these 100% every time on PC and crust.

for anyone having trouble with "too close to another building" try putting a celling on a half wall inside the honeycomb next to it. for whatever reason thats what made it work for me

Use a crosshair overlay and graphics set to 4. I notice a dot in the middle part of a twig, and if you aim slightly above it, you have about a 75% chance of success

what would be the cheapest rocket raid to tc? 27 correct? 1 garage door, sheet metal wall, then HQM wall. they also get a loot room i believe. rly clean base tho btw

2 garage door but it's easy when you know where is the loot, you can also put the loot room on the opposite :), and split the loot. For 1 or 2 players 30 rockets on vanilla is not cheap :).

20 rockets are beyond *most* solo/duo would be raiders capabilities. ive seen quads that struggle to get their hands on 10 rockets. this obviously isnt going to last you on a monthly server with a 8 man sweat shop running around, but itll work well for its intended purposes.

I'm having an issue getting 1 out of 4 of the wide gap deals done because of a slight hill. I cant place the triangle after the low walls. I tried raising the foundations earlier in the buildout to then make the height okay but then I get "too close to another building" when trying to connect with door frame. Help!

6:42 that's a bug/glitch in the game that has been fixed/patched that doesn't work. Me and the server owner tried to do exactly what you did and when we got to 6:42 of the video it didn't let either of us place a door frame in the middle part. Is there a better way to do that without using bugs/glitches in the game because this is very frustrating.

when placing the square and the two low walls. aim at the top of that little half circle things before uncrouching. He was aiming in the middlish. I had to aim a little higher to place the two triangles far enough away to place the frames

yeah sorry man this base does not work on the latest patches, while building the stability to the shooting floor the middle door frame is to close to the base
