Didn’t realize you had to spray the activator on at the end. Wasn’t very impressed before that. But WOW!!!! What an awesome final result! Looks exactly like rust on camera. Great job Trev👌 Really nice work my friend 👍

Gee whizz at 45 min in that went mental , I am always battling keeping the rust at bay on my Motors but one of my other hobbies Model railways I am always weathering them to be as grimey as realistically as possible , great vid Trev and the more work to get the effect is incredible .Pity the rust on my 73 Ford is genuine .

I"ve done this before. Interesting somebody is marketing it. I have my selection of muddy red's and brown paint. Add steel to it by sanding a steel panel with 400 grit capturing the swarf. Toss the swarf into the paint and basically follow your process. Although I've never used any sort of "activated paint" for the rust. Never tried to make it rough or keep the viscosity excessively high either. To activate the staining and streaking I spray it down with hydrogen peroxide. I suspect your powder is citric acid. I can see some clear differences in this process from what I've done in the past. I dig the results, and I picked up some ideas. Cool stuff Trev.

My T4 vans seen to dream of being painted rusty. They do a very good job on their own. :D Another great educational video Trev. Everything you do is interesting. I've been looking into airbrushing to get that fade out look. They are so easy to use & very forgiving even for a novice. Just watched until the end. WOW what a brilliant job.

i spent 30+ years doing sign work...building and repairing ( in shop and on site ) as well as everything to do with Commercial signs ( being in small companies means you learn everything ).... neon was fun and would wake you up pretty quickly if you got buzzed ( thousands of volts 3 - 15 KV { 3,000 to 15,000 } but low amperage ) by the juice flowing from the transformer into neon glass 😂 sometimes we made old signs look new or look vintage too ( leaving the wear and tear of decades of use )...
