Rusted PLIER Ever Best RESTORATION - Epoxy Resin Handle

Today i am restoring one of the Most rusted PLIER too you have ever seen.
It was out of handle so i made new Grips using some epoxy resin.
The Mold was made with Silicon by using grips of a new Plier After that i pour the resin into the Mold and made my new Grips for this Plier tool it was one of the best Restoration.
You Guys share your opinion how was this video and did you like the grips?

Once again you've done good work with limited tools, mostly a lot of hard work. I wish you could have done something about the wire cutting edges, they don't meet so won't be too good for cutting wire like they're meant to. Only think I can think of you could have done was run a little weld bead on each side then profile it back ot where it should be, but I don't know if you have that capability available, you sure do well with what you do have on hand. Exactly what was the white powder you mixed with the rtv silicone? You may have just solved a mold making problem for me. Was it baking powder or something? flour? I'm betting it's something common you had on hand.

Will the resin handles give you any electric shock protection ?

yes... like 10-20 kV per milimeter of thickness! but i recomend you to put on some shrink tube just in case if there is a tiny crack

Impressive! If the tool was not big enough for your hands, then there ya go. At least I know how to fix my tools and make comfortable handles. Mine will be sparkly and shiny. 😉
