So many great ideas. Once you moved the brown bottle on the bottom and put the clock there it was like an ahh yes. I’ve actually painted some books from goodwill and your ideas are helpful with what I’m going to with them. I’m also going to spend some time looking for vintage books they really bring a nice look in.

Love the shelves! I love greenery too, especially in spring. I never thought to add books as decor. Love that! I'm a huge fan of using different heights in decor and books would be another way of doing that. 👌 I do that too....set up an area of my home, then step back and change it up. Sometimes I come back the next day and adjust something else that's not quite right to me. My husband thinks I'm nuts....he doesn't see what I see...lol. Your 5 staple items can be used for any themed house! That's a great concept to go by. I am ALWAYS lost on shelves etc..They just seem so daunting but this makes it a little easier. I am a basket fanatic..I have soo many in my closets and cabinets but love the look of them.
