I really enjoyed the tour of your kitchen. My maternal grandparents (mostly my grandfather) were big antique collectors and so whenever I see rooms in your house and all the antiques I feel right at home! I wish you were my neighbor! I have that same Rooster sign that I bought at an antique store and I hung it on my Hoosier cabinet I got from my grandmother after she passed away. I often see so many things that I have seen in my grandparents' home or my sister's home or my own collection that you also have, because we all are "collectors" now (that is what I prefer calling it lol)..and I own many antiques myself now -some I have purchased and some I inherited from my grandparents. As usual, I really loved your video. Now I need to get me some coffee after seeing all your coffee grinders and watching it brew! This was a real treat this morning. I think I enjoy the kitchens of this era more than anything else. When I taught, my favorite field trip for my second graders was to a turn-of-the-century home built by Hiram Clay Kellogg for his family. This was not the cereal Kellogg, but the fertilizer Kellogg (he formulated that in a little room right off of the boudoir!) My students loved the kitchen gadgets and the "ghost" drawers. I also enjoyed all your grinders--my mom collected food grinders and passed them on to me. Fond memories of her grinding our baloney salad for sandwiches in the 50's/60's. She grew up in a PA Dutch tradition. So much to enjoy in this video! Glad you got it done today! Thank you, Jeri, for brightening my morning!!

This is my type of dreamhome... this beats modernity anytime! Also like the layout with large openings in to every room.
