Greeting's from Ireland, Great video ,beautiful container, and a lovely natural looking garden. I had a half wooden barrel container many years ago and I would grow snapdragons from seed and plant them into it. The snapdragons were a real bee magnet and eventually the barrel rotted. I did up the garden a few years ago and now I have snapdragons in clay pots for the bees.

I just found your channel and I am absolutely in love with your garden and the cottage in the background! I am in the country in Texas zone 8a and working on what I am calling my southern cottage garden where I am mixing in blooming cactus that we found growing wild on the property with other beautiful plants that survive the brutal summers here. I am on my 3rd year of working on it and am feeling so inspired by your videos! 💕

Ice plants need full sun. Lots and lots of sun!! 😄 We use it as a ground cover in several of our flowerbeds and it's struggled in even partial shade... ... but in the sunny beds it's wonderful, especially the first blooming of spring where the whole bed lights up in fuchsia!!! 😁😍 And black flies are camera-shy? Who knew?🤣🤣

You asked for recommendations for something by your birdbath…. One of my favorites is Lambs Ear it is so velvety soft, silvery and shoots up a stalk with purple blossoms. When my daughter was young she would pick the leaves and gently rub them on her nose while she sucked her thumb ❤. Another recommendation is Russian Sage, the periwinkle color is stellar!

I’ve met Carol klein and she’s so funny. We met her at Gardeners world live and my mum tried to collar her for a picture not realising they were filming and she told the camera men to bugger off a second and took pictures with her. She is such a lovely woman. Well worth the trip here. Try and do it when you can get the trifecta of Chelsea flower show, Malvern and Gardeners world Live flower shows. They’ll all be at all of them.

The pot looks so pretty and I love the crab apple. I have had a big problem with slugs here in my cottage garden in Wales, UK this year. I am a vegan so wouldn't dream of hurting them but am currently trying old copper piping to put them off going near certain plants. You may be interested in knowing it is the Chelsea flower show here in the UK this week which you should be able to watch online. Carol Klein is my favourite gardener also

I can't even focus on your beautiful planting because I am in awe of your property 😍. It is like a whole new world from the winter videos. I knew how magical it looked in spring, but watching it go from winter to spring has been absolutely incredible. Also, you mentioned you are in New England. I am contemplating a move there, too, but I'm nervous about the tick/lyme situation. As someone who is also not from that area and is always in the garden, how has the tick situation been for you guys?

Having this kind of work in beautiful gardering is such ART true the garden having those EMPTY spaces full of color it makes everything full of life - specially done with u r partner fulfilling- greater moments- lovely energy SUROUNDING'S- shadering dragon , praniouse Diane fessthey pop every where " I see u need tree treeming - so the sun be shinning on the spaces they need🌞 may this summer gathering be ready 4 the next one -time flynn so quicky 💢💢🌟
