@raymondlang The alien was called Gilbert, and the programme was called Get Fresh hosted by Gaz Top and Charlotte Hindle, there was also a spin off called Gilbert's Fridge where Rusty did some cooking with Gilbert

Was it Rusty who had a kids show in the early 80s where there was a co host of a runny nosed alien???? I'm sure I am not imagining it..the alien looked like it was mad of rubber..like something from Spitting Image. I know Rusty was alway laughing in it.
