I am gonna need some time to get used to these ACE mechanics. They really give you more to think about when strategising your plays. Suddenly the best move to make in a situation can become less intuitive, yet at the same time, playing over-cautiously when your opponent doesn't have their ACE in hand can also disrupt your tempo and cost you the game. Overall though, I found this new risk juggling element both immersive and fun during testing and I'm looking forward to how the game state continues to develop with future ACEs. So far, I think it does add a new dimension of complexity to matchups and I foresee an interesting impact on players' minds once we get used to seeing (and losing to) ACE counter plays.

Metalgarurumon ACE is strong with that memory steal effect. Add in SkullMammmothmon constantly bring back the trashed blockers and it's really strong.

That is some serious talent, you import the cards yourself, then produce some really good games for us to watch. I'm a new player who doesn't own any physical cards, but I've been having fun with a friend on TTS. Given that everything is imported, I'm guessing you aren't using an external site to create the decks.
@GoldenShadowKnight Жыл бұрын
alright now do that again but with full power version of these decks cause the power of both of them was not fully showcased in this match, speaking from experience the skullmamothmon deck regularly gains 8 memory per turn and spams lv3 and lv4 digimon like there ants. and the wargreymon deck has some crazy powerful attacks and mechanics with the raid wargreymon line.
@Shades14 Жыл бұрын
It's as I thought. On their own, the Garurumon deck is better. But if both decks had access to their previous support, I wonder if the outcome would have been different or not.

Yeah its no contest but that Blast Garurumon is soooooo much stronger. Capable of activating and chaining multiple effects after trashing a card in hand and and combined with Mammoth being able to recycle trashed mons.

People compared ACE to hand traps in Yu GI oh when announced. The difference being knowledge. If you see your opponent is keeping a level 4 or 5 in play, you must respect a possible ace card. Or delete it since your attack triggers work before then

metalgarurumon deck is superior, most of the cards have retaliation and can be brought back from the trash to the field
@dp101 Жыл бұрын
That interaction to have an attack end your turn via metalgarurumon ace seems really annoying. Sure you can "play around it" in that you can pay attention to whether or not they have a level 5, but if you can't remove said level 5 it's kinda irrelevant - if you never attack you can't win, but if they have even a single matt and you're being kept to a max of the 3 memory from a setter, you just can't attack without passing turn. Hard to fully judge the mechanic ahead of time, but so far I can't see myself enjoying ace digimon, just too heavy a swing factor based on semi-hidden information.
