I can’t wait until my cb7 is done being built. After that my goal is to buy honda/acura after another singularly restoring each of them. Same motors same everything with possibly the chance of a bit of oem+. I never got to grow up in these generation of cars, and never really seen a “perfect” OEM honda in person, but i’ll be glad to return it to its factory state. @@sidney9534 afaik, KZbin likes videos longer than 10 and shorter than 20 minutes. Look at all of the trends page, they tend to stick to 15 minutes. Also... What's RHD Niva doing in your yard? Good video man I'll always be looking for more.

@@annihilaiser3736 ooh ok, worth trying for the next one! That's not my yard unfortunately, my friend is generously letting me work there. He's got passion for collecting these old gems. @@sidney9534 I'm not completely sure about the specifics, to be honest. But I believe it's referring to a set of blister fenders made by Mugen. Some people like them, but personally I'm not convinced. 🤷♂️ I thought however it also referred to a version with twin side draft Solex carburetors, but after a quick Google search I can't find anything that backs this up, so it's questionable at best. When I saw the Pro logo written on the silver CR-X assumed it was one of the corny Solex-specials and got excited. 🤓 But still, if it happens to be a set of blister fenders and accessories I'm sure your friend will find a buyer for it, to put it that way. No loss either way.
@sidney95342 жыл бұрын
@@nimaforoughi7266 Ahh right. No, the silver one is a regular model, just has the Mugen sticker for some extra horsepower. It's unfortunately even more rusty than the white one, so it's a donor car at best. Mugen bodykit can look great if well put together and rest of the car matches, but yes, I myself prefer stock panels too.
@nimaforoughi72662 жыл бұрын
@@sidney9534 Oh no, I'm such a fool falling for that sticker 🙈 Shame about the rust. But if it's a genuine SI it seems to be an early one, I'm guessing late 84 or early 85 based on the taillights and bumpers etc. They should be rare on their own.

True, here clean ones go for about $10k. But still, if I worked the same time in a normal job for minimum wage, I'd have probably upwards of $30k. Some might argue the time spent on a hobby is not "work", but on a project this big, you just have to have "job" mindset or it never gets done.
