Nice! Look forward to seeing it cleaned up and being put back together - reckon I will learn a few things 👍

Thanks, parts are proving difficult to find here in Australia. But it is 50+years old so that's to be expected.

It actually wasn't as bad as I expected (based on the first video). It was bad, but parts weren't rusted together. (I used locktight on the screw at the top of my shift selector drum. The screw had come loose and I was unable to shift - thus the reason I took the engine (clutch side) apart. I didn't have the clutch holding tool and used various chain straps and oil filter strap tools to hold things in place. It would have been a lot easier if I had your clutch holding tool. Thanks for posting.

Yes that's what I thought, the top end seemed to have taken most of the water. A shame because it show almost no signs of wear, it would've been a good engine if stored out of the weather. Thanks for commenting.

Thanks Andy, parts are the main problem now. Can't find a kickstart shaft anywhere. The second engine I've got is from an atc so it doesn't have a kickstart.

@@andyshondaxlsrestorations4733 thanks mate, this has the early version with ratchet & pawl & was upgraded to a simpler one, don't know if the later one will fit this engine case. I've got ct110 kickstart but they're different again & won't fit. I'll check out CMS.

Are parts easy to come by?
@Free_Ranger_CT1105 ай бұрын
Not easy to come by here in Australia, parts are available in Europe from CSMNL but when shipping is added it becomes overly expensive. I haven't yet sourced a kickstart shaft & piston/cylinder.
