If you want a really good tyre that fits the defender 90 just right I would recommend the 1.55 Falken widepeak at3w

I just checked that tyre out under your recommendation and you're right, they look absolutely perfect for the build! I think that's the tyre I'll go for once I get some new sets! ^^ Thanks!

How did you strip the paint from the RC4WD wheel? Do the Boom Racing wheels come with a 'socket' for the scale hardware used to install the hex adapter or are they preinstalled?

Sorry for my very late reply, only just saw your message, the Boomracing wheels do come with small socket tool to remove the hardware, the paint was removed using nail polish remover if I remember correctly. ^^
