For any future such events, it probably makes sense to put the start time, e.g., 24 hours after the video airs, just to level the playing field somewhat to not give more time to people who happened to see the video first. Obviously doesn't make much of a difference but there also doesn't seem any real harm in doing so.

While this is a really neat incentive, I do not think three days is nearly enough to make any substantial kind of mod relating to the theme you're asking for. We had a modathon last year that gave everyone a week, and even that was a tight deadline for many people. Limitations boost creativity and all, but this seems a little too tight.

Make a mod where every time a weapon hits the player or an enemy, it creates the metal pipe sound. Sorcery/Incantation sounds replaced by Vine boom. Arrows/Bolts replaced by someone saying "bang". Call it "ego death" to keep in line with the theme.

This is not a suggestion for this contest since it would take way too much time, but I'd love to see a mod implementing AC6 models into the landscape with added moss and rust to make them seem like remnants from a past age. Imagine it, the half-submerged carcass of the cleaner far away in the ocean, frozen ACs among the fire giants, destroyed canons and helicopters outside the walls of Leyndell.

Look, I have absolutely no mod ability what so over AND i'm driving 14 hours in the next three day so I won't be participating - but I cannot deny the gut instinct to make a mod where something (weapon, spell, an ingestible is my gut instinct) has some taunting death name and simply makes all of your attacks of any kind against enemies heal them instead of damaging them. This is likely a horrid idea, but it is free if it inspires someone with mod ability who ISN"T driving 14 hours in the next three days.
