Sick of those rusty and pitted speaker grills bringing down the interior of your 2009-2014 Ford F-150? A lot of us are. Here is the super easy and right way to fix that problem! Less than $5 to fix those rusty speakers!

Very easy fix indeed. I have a 2014 F-150 EcoBoost in top shape. I was scrubbing these grills trying to remove those spots with no results using all types of cleaners. After seeing the video, I ran to the truck and took care of the issue. Took me about 1.5 hours and 2 beers to remove, wash, dry, paint and re-install. Just be very careful when you remove the grills. You can also remove the "Sony" logo on the front grills if you don't want to paint them like I did, just be more careful as they are held by very delicate pins that fold down on the inside of the grill. I also went with black; they look awesome. Thanks "Jake in Georgia"

This was as easy you said. The covers came out easy using a plastic putty knife and a flat head screwdriver . I started at the door column bottom corner and gently pried up and from there I used the plastic blade. Thanks for that video screens look better than new.

I love to hear it worked out well for you! I agree, mine look better than they did new as well. I hated that rust pitting look.

The actual removing of the grill was what I was expecting to see. 10 minutes of wasted time I will never get back.

Hey he is talking about me! Jake here does not approve of the video I made which shows where to get the matching paint, and a technique to apply the paint in minutes without overspray issues, or an inconsistent finish and shine like you see in his video.. I guess my time is worth more than this gentleman's and he does not understand that. But that's cool. Also, if you pull these out (somtimes even once) they will deform, look bad, and not re-install properly. Cheers.
