I Killed My Nova B3 Nitro Engine and Then Rebuilt it!

I just got back into RC. I had a Traxxas rustler when i was about 13. I wanted to get a nitro but my mom wouldt let me go with nitro mostly because of the neighbors . Im 23 now and just got a cheap HSP and i absolutely love it. Only had it a week and upgrading the servos/battery and receiver tomorrow. When this one lets go ill go with a different brand but its not a bad car to start with. Love the vids man!

Ancient Chinese secret is crack that glue plug a little bit to run that thing in to get rid of some of that pinch or friction or whatever y'all call it over there. But my super pinch race motor is I just have to do that until I got so much to room until they become like they should be. But it's easy to pop that damn crankshaft when you're like that and having to keep prying them loose is terrible on them. All it does is while I wrap the hole and that crank pin where the crankshaft rides and the crank pin. I'm sorry I'm driving. I'm sure there's some misspellings or what not in here cuz of the voice text. Hopefully you can make out what I'm trying to say but keep up the good work my friend

I’d like to buy a bearing removal tool but you can just use a propane torch and evenly distribute the heat over the rear bearing and front bearing and tap on a wooden surface and they should fall right out.

this works so much better, and no stress on hte bearings... once its hot, grab your new front bearing from the freezer (i like using a glass of ice water that i left in the freezer for 30min) and put it on the crank and guide it into your block that you just had the bearing drop out of... you can also install your rear bearing then let it sit, dont quench it

How much fuel have you run throw it? If you have run 5+ fuel you need to change the rod.

I need a little help, I have a Kyosho GXR18 engine and it kept moving every time I stopped it, I found the idle needle stuck and wanted to clean it. First time taking out the carb and found the rubber o ring split and a small hole on the tube where it slides in the engine and is held on by the middle flat part of the screw. Would it still work or do I need to buy a new one. I appreciate your help and advice.

I’m afraid I don’t understand what you mean by a hole in the tube I can’t picture any tube going into an engine in my head. Usually there’s just two pipes and one goes into the carb and the other from the tank to the exhaust.

@@HaggardRC It’s the part that has an o ring that fits into the engine. I’m sorry I don’t know what it’s called. Imagine you taking wiggling the carb out from the engine, I’m talking about that inlet tube. It has a pin hole. It looks superficial and that’s why I wanted your advice. If you want, I can send your a picture.
