You make such an important point about tying the rhythm of the lead with what's going on underneath. That advice right there is priceless. I also like how you highlight going from minor pentatonic to major pentatonic and back - a player can double their vocabulary just by alternating among that three fret range. Another awesome lesson Rusty!

Great lesson. If I could just add, without stepping on your toes, try counting it 1&a 2&a 3&a 4&a, where the shuffle is on the beat and A (or "uh") of the beat. 1 a 2 a, etc... The middle note, or & of the triplet, can also be played to fill some areas in a little more.

Sorry to say that I haven’t watched your channel before. I have watched a total of two videos and you have managed to resolved a topic that I have spent an unbelievable amount of time on “ Major And Minor”. It seems that everyone has a different perspective on teaching it and so far I have found it very confusing. I have just been doing it the way I believe was right and made sense to me. You have shown me in this video that I am doing it the same as you. Thank you so much. This made my day. Couldn’t I also change from Minor To Major by starting on the Minor root note, on the E string and begin playing Box 2 of the Major Pentatonic? New Sub.😊
