For some reason I feel more confident in this game than the Washington game. They will play their running game and try to control the clock but if that fails they are equipped to come from behind as well. It will be interesting to see how they will perform in that situation. If they are successful that way, the ceiling gets raised on the season.

Agreed. I really cannot get a feel on Nebraska just yet, but I think Washington definitely is the better team on the OL, DL and QB. I also think VT is much better than given credit for and think they might be comparable to Nebraska. VT definitely has really good WR, RB, TE and kicker. Their DL was really solid and super athletic. Their OL was not supposed to be great and I’ve heard the same about Nebraska. The other thing is Nebraska schedule has been pretty suspicious except for Illinois. Lots of those sacks were against a weak Colorado OL and other not so great OL teams. If you think about Rutgers… We have faced really mobile QB or quick release style offense and that has made the DL look less effective IMO.

@@XxMarosyxX Good points. When all is said and done I expect Washington to be very competitive and give all the big ten teams a tough time. I wasn't impressed with Nebraska's last game against Purdue, their running game is just ok and I don't think Raiola is as effective as Rogers at this stage in his career.

Been watching more cfball talk shows and local coverage of various programs. You guys give the best coverage of anything I have seen. It's because you focus equally with respect on the other programs and give fair analysis of our team, referencing history, and also remain aware of suffering RU fans. I think we have a team speed advantage on Nebraska. Our game speed is going to cause them to press and make errors. We didn't beat VA tech and Washington because we are slow.

Every time I listen to David Anderson I learn something. I suspect we're going to give up a lot of yards (again)...hopefully we can get some help from special teams this week.
