Hi Ruth. Thanks for this video. Kindly how can one do annerkenung of documents from outside Germany? To whom do you send the documents? And the duration it takes and charges? Can one do Ausbildung without annerkenung?

Hi Beth you can go to Anabin Database and then search the state that you want to do the Ausbildung in eg Berlin then send them an email then they, will ask you to send the certificates. Never send the original docs but copies that have been certified by a govt authority in your country. The process takes 4-6 weeks

​No. If its only Ausbildung its not possible. Being a nurse in germany does not mean you can easily work in the US. Ausbildung is just vocational training. You need bachelors degree. And you need to get your qualifications be recognized in the US and pass the NCLEX-RN before you can work in the US. Its not like that.​@@ruthqym5906

How hard is it to get an ausbildong

It depends. But many institutions are urgently looking for staff not only in the healthcare sector, but also in kindergartens, in the trades or in industry, and they also offer training. There are many jobs. In addition to all the papers and knowledge of German, you need strength and perseverance to complete the training. It's not always easy - not even for native speakers - so you won't be alone and you'll probably find help from your colleagues. I think it's worth the effort. Definitely. Go for it! Good luck!
